Manifestly joyful, this shows that one is mindful of accumulating the collection of merit arising from discipline. "Great in glory" indicates abiding in the fruit of the accumulation of merit of the perfection of patience. The perfection of patience is the fruit of many beings' retinue of servants. Abiding in it, one is great in glory, that is, whoever is powerful, their glory is also great. "Patient and happy" shows that one is mindful of the accumulation of merit of patience. "Although knowing" shows abiding in the fruit of the accumulation of wisdom. "Without pride of knowledge" shows that one is mindful of accumulating wisdom. Why? If pride arises from knowledge, one will praise oneself and denigrate others. Praising oneself and denigrating others, the Bhagavan has said in the Great Vehicle that this is the cause of the decline of wisdom, thus showing that one is mindful of the accumulation of wisdom. Alternatively, although one is wise, one has no pride of knowledge, which shows that one is never satisfied with knowledge and diligently cultivates the accumulation of wisdom again and again. "Possessing splendor and wealth" indicates abiding in the fruit of the accumulation of merit of generosity. "Without arrogance," arrogance is being arrogant due to the arrogance of splendor. Therefore, if one is entered by arrogance, one will not engage in the accumulation of merit of generosity, etc. Only one without arrogance can enter, and this should be connected with "seeing widely." "Young," this verse refers to the six perfections, and being perfectly endowed in the three realms, showing the state of cause and effect, those who possess both qualities are pervaded by the distinction of fame. What is seen is reason. Broad is seeing the direction of vastness, that is, seeing widely. Pervasion shows pervasion by boundless fame. The three realms are the earth, the sky, and the heavens, showing that fame spreads above. "Because his fame pervades the three realms," this shows that there is some fame.

Thus it is said, because it appears very small. Because other than that, the merits are only a little. The so-called "arrows of generosity fall like rain" are the arrows of generosity themselves, which completely destroy the suffering of poverty. With the strong bow of compassion, it is to shoot generosity. The so-called "that and," refers to the source of suffering of poverty for beings. More than the beggar, it means more than desire, which indicates that the objects of generosity are very many. The so-called "without being afflicted," this indicates the perfection of intention, because I completely dedicate the perfection of my own samsara to nirvana. The so-called "gentle words, respect, and pleasing," this indicates the perfection of application, because the actions of body and speech can please the beggars. This indicates that in the past, the perfection of generosity was accumulated. Now, starting from "the sun of the seasons," it indicates that one possesses the perfection of discipline. Saying "like a snow mountain," indicates the qualities of color and size. The so-called "dust of pride," this refers to the state of pride. Saying "tamed," means to accept teachings well. Why is the fruit not mentioned? Because merely mentioning size and characteristics, even if not explicitly stated, it is already established. The so-called "belly of generosity," is the place of generosity. He went to inspect and felt very happy, even though he did not see the difference in generosity, but because it was agreed upon beforehand, he felt happy, and seeing it made him even happier. The so-called "just that much," refers to wealth. The so-called "able to deceive," means able to give. The so-called "sent away," means sent away. The concise meaning of the verse "You are brave in generosity" is that through two ways, the intention of what is said is fulfilled, that is, the object requested and the giver are both perfect, and if either of these two is not complete, the purpose of begging cannot be accomplished. Being able to bear great begging is being able to bear great begging. Or because it is also great, it is also great.
