If one does not seek meaning, then what else should one seek? The verse "By this merit, may all" was spoken. "Having attained the state of seeing all" indicates the abandonment of the obscuration of knowable objects. "Having subdued the enemy of faults" indicates the abandonment of all afflictive obscurations. "By this merit" indicates the perfect accumulation of merit. "Having attained the state of seeing all, having subdued the enemy of faults" indicates the perfect accumulation of the result. The latter half of the verse "old age and sickness" indicates the perfect accomplishment of all meaningful activities, being in accordance with the great waves of old age, sickness, and death, because it is great and occurs again and again without ceasing. Such diligence refers to the diligence of seeking Buddhahood itself, which is the meaning of the mind of enlightenment. This "action" refers to the action of giving one's own flesh and blood. "Like you" refers to the Bodhisattvas. "For the benefit of the world" means for the complete protection of all beings, because you have become the jewel of all, and I have also become one of the beings, therefore, in any case, one must seek meaning. "We ourselves want to benefit," it is said, and again it is said that seeking wealth means attaining Buddhahood. "Do not want" refers to entering into this ultimate meaning. "My meaning also" refers to the karma that is the cause of the suffering of the lower realms at the end of the future. "Becoming the cause of following" means becoming the path of following, that is, following ignorance, therefore it is said to become the cause of following. It means that because of ignorance, I will follow. From the nectar of the Dharma of liberation, one must first share, wherein liberation is liberation, that is, abandoning afflictions. Liberation itself is Dharma, so it is the Dharma of liberation. This refers to the liberation of the Hearer Vehicle through Nirvana.

Because it is nectar, it is the nectar of the Dharma of liberation. To give it completely is to distribute the nectar of the Dharma of liberation. In terms of giving with universal knowledge, the verses such as "I rejoice in that" are spoken. When speaking of "attachment to the wealth and wives of others," speaking of "the wealth of others" is to avoid taking what is not given, and speaking of "wives" is to avoid adultery with the protected wives of others. Speaking of "false speech" is to avoid slanderous words, and in this way, it also causes people to uphold the five foundations of training. "Those" refers to flowers. The sound of "moved by the wind" should be connected with trees and flowers here. "Becoming shaking" refers to earthquakes. The verse "The great ocean is very turbulent" should also follow the aspect of earthquakes. Or, the phrase "The great ocean is very turbulent" should be regarded as having completed its meaning. "From nature, it has extraordinary power and sound," meaning that wherever water has power and sound exceeding its nature, that is power and sound exceeding its nature. The verse "Sayam Zama" is spoken in terms of the perfection of cause, the perfection of result, and the perfection of benefiting sentient beings' activities. In terms of the perfection of cause, it is "The Dharma of the noble is very excellent," and the good person is the Bodhisattva because they are not attached to their own lives. The Dharma is abiding. Or, because it is abiding, it is abiding, not caring for one's own life, which is abiding in the conduct of the Bodhisattva. Or, the Dharma is the generation of Bodhicitta. What becomes special because of this is the land and so on, that is, the Bodhisattvas who abide in the land of excellent intention. One's own giving does not abide in the land of practicing with faith and desire. This shows the perfection of the cause. "Cultivating merit" means being accustomed to merit, so it is the abiding of merit. Being accustomed to merit itself is its action, so one should be accustomed to its merit. To this, this refers to the perfection of giving.

It is the accomplishment of the merits of going to the other shore. Because of the habit of abandoning external things in the past, one can abandon internal things, which is what is to be shown. Appropriately, in former times, clothes, food, drink, and bedding were given as alms. In accordance with the impoverished body. Wherever the Bodhisattva is accustomed to merits, he abandons. This obtains a special combination, and through combination, etc., the result becomes perfect. Through special combination, here it refers to becoming a Buddha. By means of the wisdom of benefiting others, this makes the work of benefiting sentient beings perfect. Regarding "with harmony, respect, and resources," harmony means satisfaction. Or it is a humble behavior. Or it is repaying kindness. Respect is taming. The resources of harmony and respect are harmonious and respectful resources. Making it gentle is making it gentle with the resources of harmony and respect. Starting from praise, it increases significantly. For the suffering of compassion, it should also be narrated, like this, due to the power of compassion, even one's own flesh and blood are completely abandoned. In the "Extensive Explanation of the Jataka Tales" composed by the teacher Hero, the Jataka Tale of the Power of Loving-Kindness ends. "Subduing the senses becomes a habit" means that because it is not done through individual observation, in concealing the senses, subduing the senses becomes a habit. Why is subduing the senses becoming a habit mentioned here first, contrary to the order of worldly treatises? Worldly treatises show the order of young people, and the order of relying on reason and the elderly. But here, the most important merit of kings and princes is subduing the senses. The result of relying on reason and the elderly, etc., is subduing the senses. Therefore, this is shown. Bravery and perfect rituals show the power of joy and secret words. Through "obtaining the power of victory," the power of mastery is shown. Victory itself is glory, so it is the glory of victory.
