It is called earth. If one speaks falsely, but understands well and does not turn away from giving, then regretting and remembering me, that is the meaning. Regarding the previously stated falsehood, but understanding well and not turning away from giving, regretting and remembering me. In order to compose the answer to that statement, the poor humbly beg. This is the meaning of this verse. Therefore, what the poor humbly beg for is that the poor humbly and proudly beg. It is both unbearable and a flame, so it is an unbearable burning flame. Even if struck by the unbearable burning flame and falling into a cesspool. The power of his merit refers to whose power of merit? Relying on what was done previously, that is, relying on the power of my fortune mentioned above, and also knowing that there is no fault in giving, and the correct view of worldly people, the merit of believing in the characteristics of the result of karma now arises, and the power of the merit of both of them. This statement, "arising from special merit," shows both, therefore it is said to be special. Now it rains and burns. This statement shows the miracle of the noble one. The Jataka Tales of the Merchant, from the Extensive Explanation of the Jataka Tales by the teacher Hero. These words such as discipline and giving show the accumulation of merit and wisdom and the fruits of the accumulation of future and present merit and wisdom. Giving and discipline are the accumulation of merit that arises in the present, and are shown as the characteristics of giving and discipline. Saying "much learning" is the accumulation of wisdom that arises in the present. Saying "lineage and taming" is the fruit of the accumulation of merit arising from past discipline and taming. The fruit of the accumulation of merit arising from past giving is perfect combination. The place called knowledge is the fruit of the accumulation of wisdom of past lives. These people are not arrogant, even if they know many arts and forms of language.

These are the meanings of the distinctions of giving mentioned above. Starting with "to all who suddenly appear," the main reason for becoming a giver is to enter for the benefit of the world. In "not being overcome by faults such as stinginess," the word "etc." here refers to attachment, jealousy, and hatred, etc., because they are the cause of obstacles to giving, so they are called faults. In "desire's meaning wealth without hesitation," giving is the meaning of desire, not giving is hesitation, because there is no hesitation, so it is desire's meaning wealth without hesitation. In "therefore request," which means "certainly," the wealth that is requested is what is "request" certainly says. Why? It is said "his mind," etc., is a situation without attachment, because there is attachment to the benefit of sentient beings. In "extremely unpleasant non-wealth," "unpleasant" means fierce, because it becomes very much, so it is "extremely." Many other others, compared to those that are not wealth, this non-wealth is an extremely unpleasant non-wealth. Thus, accumulating and guarding are also great faults at both times, so it is said to be bankruptcy or loss. In "without cause or condition, quickly exhausted," it is because it is the fault of interruption. "Quickly" means not lasting long. For it, there is no way of hindrance, that is "without cause or condition, quickly exhausted," which means that even if it is well guarded, it will be destroyed, and it will be destroyed quickly. Because it is the basis of attachment, it is a companion of bad destinies, meaning it is a guide on the path of bad destinies, just as a guide becomes a companion for those who enter the path. In "obtaining wealth for oneself and others," obtaining wealth for others is to eliminate the poverty of those who request in the visible Dharma. Obtaining one's own wealth is to become the cause of going beyond all perfections. "In accordance with meaning" is a synonym for "meaning of desire," which is the perfection of the meaning of desire. "Requested by the requester,"

Like "definitely saying" and so on, these show the perfection of application. Like "the poor ones" and so on, these show the perfection of the main practice. Like the verse "In the world, wealth is mostly," this shows the perfection of the conclusion. Therefore, being happy before giving, being pleased at the time of giving, and also being happy afterwards, this is consistent with what the Blessed One taught. Like "as desired," whoever asks for something at whatever time, it is given at that time, therefore, like "as desired," this shows timely giving. Like "without stinginess," not giving to those who are stingy and have inferior giving, therefore, preventing for the benefit of someone like a son, this explains becoming the cause of long-lasting happiness. Like "adorned with special respect" is respectful giving. Like "great" means vast. Like "all" shows impartiality. Because it has these qualities, it is a great giving. Mentioning the four forms of wealth, grain, jewels, and utensils is the correct term, accumulating and fully enjoying these are things that can be fully accepted in the world, therefore these four are mentioned. Like "great giving" is because it has been done since ancient times. Unable to say the words of begging, like "I live on leftovers" means thief. That is because of the fault of my small fortune becoming arrogant, like "because of the fault of my small fortune," the fault of my small fortune is the karma of generating poverty, and becoming an obstacle to cutting off enjoyment, this is in terms of what is seen. Like "wealth is actually impermanent," the first half of this verse examines impermanence, showing not to be sad. The following two verses show sadness considering the beggars. In order to accomplish it, like the verses of "giving and respect," giving and
