The son has been instructed. It is also the gate to enter the heavenly realms. This indicates the path of truly manifest higher reality. It is the bridge to liberation from the fortress of samsara. This indicates the path of definitive goodness. Even if completely obscured by the gods, it cannot remain. Because this verse is unchangeable. This means there is no fear of death. Thus, it is because death is unchangeable. If one examines the Dharma nature of worldly phenomena. Doing evil deeds will lead to regret. This verse refers to the manner of non-reversal and entry. If one does evil deeds, one will regret it. This indicates that there is no way to retreat. Good deeds have not been done well either. This indicates that there is no way to enter. There is fear that suffering will arise in the next life. This is because neither of those two ways exists. From where will my mind regret. This verse says that I do not have the way of those two meanings. Therefore, there is no fear of death. The poor come here to beg. This verse has just indicated. White deeds have also been fully practiced. Because white Dharma has been done. In order to indicate abiding in the Dharma. Satisfaction will be obtained, this is because satisfaction is felt by giving wealth to beggars. There is no making the poor unsatisfied, this is not, it is not remembering. I also do not remember what I have done, if asked what that is, in order to indicate that. The verse "Even if one observes and thinks for a long time" has been spoken. One does not remember having committed sins at all. This refers to killing and so on. Even just thinking in the mind, this is because it is established as existing, so it is thinking in the mind. Or the mind itself is what is thought, so it is thinking in the mind, meaning that even the arising of a thought is not remembered. Like this, whichever path of the heavenly realms is practiced in two ways, that is the path of the heavenly realms that has been practiced. Like this, these two ways are the way to enter the Dharma and to turn away from sins.

Those who come are those who come to beg. Not satisfying them is not remembering at all. Thus it is taught. Who are those who are poor? Therefore it is said, 'Brahmins and relatives,' the verse has been spoken. Among them, Brahmins are called the field of merit. Relatives and friends are called the field of benefit. Those who rely and those who are poor are called the field of compassion. How does a Bodhisattva benefit and satisfy? Therefore it is said, placing much wealth for them, with appropriate generosity, for the sake of satisfying the poor. Or, giving extremely much wealth as appropriate, because both the Bodhisattva and the others are happy. Whatever action there is, that also I have done, this also shows others accordingly. 'I am not afraid,' this is because of abiding in the Dharma and practicing the path of higher realms. 'Having done that, becoming happy,' this is because of abiding in the Dharma and obtaining happiness, and practicing the path of higher realms. Or, becoming happy because of placing much wealth for Brahmins and others, it is happiness due to two reasons. 'My conduct is my conduct.' 'My conduct itself is form, therefore the form of my conduct is bad.' That is like a mirror of such Dharma. 'Look with a joyful eye.' This shows having respect for teaching the Dharma. 'Like drinking the nectar of words.' This is paying attention to the words. 'Generating respect and focusing one-pointedly, with great faith and an immaculate mind.' This is paying attention to the meaning, one should listen to the sacred Dharma, this means these are the meaning of listening to the sacred Dharma. 'However one may meet as desired.' This refers to associating with the noble ones, showing not having served. 'Only once,' this shows not doing it constantly. Even without serving, it shows that associating with noble people is reliance. 'Becoming completely reliant.' This shows that even if not done constantly, one obtains abiding for a long time.
