It is seen as follows. Bodhi Goose King, Bodhi Great, Shara Ruru Monkey, Patience Speaker and Monkey King, Elephant Brahma, those ten. Here, the ten Jataka tales, the cause of the order of these is also based on the perfection of patience. Patience without anger when others harm, patience that does not mind suffering, and patience that definitely thinks about the Dharma. Among them, taking the patience of definitely thinking about the Dharma as the main point is the Jataka of Brahma. The patience of definitely thinking about the Dharma is to desire and not be afraid of the profound and vast Dharmas. How should one know that this patience is also possessed by Bodhisattvas? Because the view of desiring self-manifestation is also well established in it. The patience of definitely thinking about the Dharma is what is explained by the Jataka of Brahma. Otherwise, how is this Jataka explained as the Jataka of the perfection of patience? If such a thought arises: the perfection of patience shown in that very Jataka, that is, the Jataka spoken according to its nature, this is reasonable. However, it is also unreasonable. Why? Because the order of the Jatakas that show the difference of patience from higher to higher is established, the word patience arises from the text. The main thing is that those who are attached to evil views by nature are especially compassionate, therefore, the Jataka of Brahma is based on definitely thinking about the Dharma. In the Jatakas of the Monkey King and the Elephant King, the main point is the patience of not minding suffering. Among the two, the one that takes the perfection of patience of not minding the suffering caused by harm as the main point is shown in the Jataka of the Monkey King. Because there is nothing unbearable, patience is the main point. One should be patient with the king who harms, because there is no connection, and the king also makes him do good. In the Jataka of the Elephant King, it is the suffering of falling from a cliff and the suffering of death.

It is the state of not caring about suffering, in order to bestow love even on unfamiliar people. The other seven Jataka stories are about being in a state of patience without anger towards the harm done. There are also two types of harmful actions: those related to oneself and those that harm oneself. Regarding the state of harming what is related to oneself, as in the Chudapanthaka Bodhi Jataka story, the harm is caused by the king seizing his own wife. There are also two types of harm to oneself: harm that disturbs one's livelihood and harm that kills. Among these, regarding the state of harm that disturbs one's livelihood, as shown in the Swan and Mahabodhi Jataka stories, it is because it is the nature of causing imminent harm to body and mind. In the Swan Jataka story, it is enduring the harm of physical aggression by being caught in a net. In the Mahabodhi Jataka story, it is harm to the mind, because it is enduring the harm of approaching torment through contempt and insult. Regarding the state of committing harm that kills, the remaining four Jataka stories are about this. There are also two types of harm that kill: applying harm that kills and instigating harm that kills. Among these, regarding the state of applying harm that kills, such as the Sharabha, Ruru, and Monkey Jataka stories. Among these, in the Sharabha Jataka story, he himself shoots an arrow, but does not cause harm, but bestows kindness and is patient with the king, being in a state of patience towards the act of applying. In the Ruru and Monkey Jataka stories, although the Bodhisattva has bestowed kindness on them both, it is in order to endure their actions of committing harm. The difference between these two is this: In the Ruru Jataka story, it is shown that the king instigated the killing of the Bodhisattva, but he himself did not initiate the killing. In the Monkey Jataka story, it is the act of the Bodhisattva bestowing kindness, but he himself initiates the killing. Precisely because of this, in the Ruru Jataka story, one sees
