A verse was spoken. The summarized meaning here is that through the power of magical abilities, one's own body is also shown to be extraordinary. By mentioning the two, desire and hatred, the two, desire and hatred, are grasped as the two to be abandoned by practicing when desired, that is, by being born in the world of Brahma. There is also no obstruction to tall buildings and walls. This refers to going without obstruction even to those with obstruction by means of magical abilities. Walking in the sky as if walking on the ground. This refers to flying under the ground and in the sky; these two show the magical ability of walking. Resplendent with glory, like the light of lightning. This refers to the emanation of the miraculous transformation of magical abilities. Samadhi refers to higher mind. Discipline is the discipline of vows. The senses are completely subdued. This refers to closing the doors of the senses. Habituation means cultivation. The fruit achieved is like this. This refers to perfect accomplishment. How is this refers to the existence of the other world. This is very clear refers to the existence of the other world. What is direct perception and so on, and whose direct perception and so on. That itself is reason, therefore direct perception and so on are the measure of reason. Because it can be grasped by it, direct perception and so on can be grasped by the measure of reason, that is, the other world. The other world is also of two kinds, that is, the other world other than this human world. That is completely established by the measure of reason of direct perception and so on. That birth other than this birth is also called the other world. Its existence is shown by the words of scripture, and the order of investigation, the order of investigation is, it means that one should believe with reason. Therefore, in order to show that there is a world other than the human world, the verse was spoken, 'The sky adorned with sun, moon, and stars.' The sky adorned with sun, moon, and stars, this refers to the world itself other than this human world that can be grasped by the measure of reason of direct perception.

It is shown there. Examining animals: Examining animals, that is, the characteristics of elephants, horses, donkeys, mules, and birds, etc. The so-called "many kinds" means that there are countless kinds within one category. Other insects, etc., are also applied in the same way. This shows that outside the human world, there are animals that exist manifestly. Manifestly clear appearance is like manifest appearance. The so-called "here" means the other world. The scriptures and recollections taken by saying "etc." are not taken here. Here, it is shown by reason that there is a past life in the present life. It is to establish that there is a human life. Because the words of the scriptures are established in both directions, the words of the scriptures are also possible in both directions. The so-called "practicing meditation," etc., said six verses, in order to establish that there is a past life outside of this life by recollection. The verse "practicing meditation" is said, in order to be able to remember the past life from the present life. The so-called "there is another world" is to establish that there is another world. Having another world means having the meaning of a past life. By practicing meditation and clear recollection, life can be manifested. "Shall I not be more manifest than myself?" It means: Self-nature should be taken as a metaphor. The so-called "practicing meditation" is to say that relying on meditation, the supernatural power of wisdom that remembers the previous abode. The so-called "clear recollection" is to say that if one obtains meditation, it is the cause of remembering past lives. The so-called "from this" means that past lives appear to be remembered, and because past lives are remembered. In order to show that all the rest also have another world, five verses are said. Other thoughts are born from other thoughts that have passed away, so it is to establish that there is another world. The verse "If the later thought is born from the former thought" is said. The so-called "thought before dwelling in the womb" means from the previous thought.

Everything changes, as the mind appears to precede everything. For example, the mind that arises before the fetus is born now is the previous mind, which is the next world. Therefore, the next world certainly exists. Because the initial mind exists in a realm, the next world exists. To prove this, the verse is quoted: "The mind is said to understand what is to be known." The mind of the first birth certainly exists in a realm. Because without a realm, it does not seem to be cognized by itself, like the mind that arises now. The object of the first mind is the next world, therefore the next world exists. The first mind is of a past object, why? Because there are no five senses such as the eye, and the mental consciousness also cannot arise depending on any of the senses such as the eye. Some say this: Just as things that are not sentient beings, such as trees, have various natures due to the differences in their seeds, but they do not have a next world. Similarly, things that are shown as sentient beings also have various natures corresponding to the differences in the seeds of the parents' sperm and blood, but they do not exist in the next world. Considering that they say so, the verse is quoted: "The morality of beings, etc." Because it is of both parents, it is of both parents. What is inconsistent with its nature is past or different. Mentioning morality, etc., is because it mentions the differences in characteristics such as beauty, ugliness, wealth, and poverty. There is nothing that happens suddenly, because it is combined with the distinction of the causelessness of the causeless ones. Or, because nothing arises without a cause. If that is the case, then is it not because of the differences in the seeds of parents, etc., that the differences of beings appear in this way? No, why? Because the differences in morality, etc., seem to be inconsistent with the nature of the parents. Some afterlife proponents, etc., establish it suddenly in this way.
