I, by acquiring wealth such as food, anointing perfumes, garlands, and silver, make the heart rejoice, because it is in accordance with my great essence. "Giving makes one happy" means through three things such as fulfilling desires as they are. Those who dwell in different regions are those who dwell in different regions. Or, those who have the symbolism of dwelling in different regions. Mentioning "different regions" is to explicitly indicate that they come from far away. Mentioning "dwelling in a place" is to indicate the abundance of dwelling in a place. Others say, aren't there those who completely fulfill desires? Why come from so far away? To explain the reason, this verse is spoken: "Even if one examines with the mind in all human lands." Another instance of begging is that it is not found, which means becoming very stingy, indicating that people do not engage in giving. Therefore, they have come from afar. "Like forest elephants, great ocean clouds gather." This indicates that although the people dwelling in the place engage in giving and completely fulfill desires, they have abandoned those and come. "People come from friendly places." The structure of this verse indicates that the beginning, the body, and the end are in accordance with the Buddha's teachings. That is, it becomes consistent with the meaning of the sutra, that before giving, the mind becomes happy, at the time of giving, the mind is at peace, and after giving, one is also happy in the end. The beginning, the body, and the end themselves indicate the actions of body, speech, and mind. In order, connect "people, friends" and so on with this. "Arising from giving" and these two verses indicate the two understandings realized through visible dharma: observing oneself, and also making others famous. "Because the merit of giving has not increased" is like thinking through, for others, wealth has become an obstacle, and because it has increased. That same merit of giving that has not increased is spoken, gathering the begging people.

It is called "small part", for the purpose of accomplishing this. By relying on it, poverty is satisfied. This refers to the fact that the king is not satisfied because the merit of giving does not increase, and the brave giver is not satisfied in his heart. This is what it refers to. If the poor are satisfied, then why is he not satisfied? He replied: Because of the limits of the poor's begging. And so on. Is my body necessarily to be given away? This is the king's examination of Jinada and others. In order to examine him, he transformed into the form of an old blind Brahmin. Of the three mentioned, the mention of blind is because he cannot walk on the road. The mention of old is because it has become difficult. The mention of Brahmin is because these show the place of giving. Meditating on compassion and loving-kindness, the order is mentioned here because suffering is first eliminated, and then placed in happiness. Without being liberated from suffering, one cannot be placed in happiness. The view is stable, clear and peaceful, which shows that it does not dwell on the afflictions of desire, ignorance and hatred. Ignorance is mentioned in the middle because it is the root of both. If ignorance becomes strong, the view will not be clear. Like welcoming, this refers to living far away. Like embracing, this refers to living close to it. Or welcoming is due to the practice of compassion. Looking like embracing is the complete practice of loving-kindness. By eliminating suffering and closely combining happiness, the two ways clarify the thought of perfect action. Lord of the earth, holy one, your, etc., this body is asking for what, how to ask, asking from above. What is the state? Because there is no merit in both states, there is no perfection in walking on the road. The lack of the merit of the eye is with the word "unseen". There is also no merit in ability, which is with the word "old". What is being asked for? It is the eye where there is something, that is, to offer the eye. This refers to asking for one of his eyes, of the world.
