Discipline is not mentioned because the discipline of vows has already been discussed. Accumulating virtuous Dharma and benefiting sentient beings are accomplished by the word "etcetera." Other things should also be included by the word "etcetera" in order to show the qualities. The compassionate one is indicated by the verse "near to peace," because this does not discourage oneself and others, so it is a quality. Not being discouraged is not only temporary, but also leads to trust. These two qualities are related to others. "The conflict of fighting will not arise" shows that the actions of body and speech do not harm oneself and others. "The fire of conflict will not burn" shows that it does not harm one's own thoughts. In short, it is a verse summarizing the meaning previously stated, where "observing the Dharma of the wise" shows the verse previously stated, "generate compassion for sentient beings." "What joy is there that does not rely on affection?" shows what was indicated by "abandon killing, stealing, etc." Therefore, the verse "like oneself and one's son" shows what was indicated in the verse "to oneself or one's family." The conduct of the noble ones refers to the way of entering and withdrawing. The Jataka of the Deer King Ruru from the Extensive Explanation of Jatakas by the teacher Hero is complete. The conduct of the noble ones is the conduct of the noble ones. Or the noble one himself is conduct, therefore it is the conduct of the noble ones. Those who have the conduct of following the noble ones are those who follow the conduct of the noble ones. The qualities of taste, power, and ripening are the qualities of taste, power, and ripening, that is, those many qualities that possess many qualities of taste, power, and ripening. Taste refers to the six, such as sweetness. Power is of two types, namely the power of warmth and the power of coolness. Ripening is also of two types. Furthermore, there are various kinds of flowers, fruits, leaves, and petals.
