"My life is also ruled by you, deer." This verse is to explain the benefits of where to go. "The forest is full of hunters" is to explain the disadvantages of living there. There are two kinds of disadvantages: body and mind. Among them, the disadvantage of the mind is accompanied by fear. Why is it accompanied by fear? Because those forests are full of hunters. The disadvantage of the body is that it is accompanied by the suffering of cold, heat, and rain. Mentioning cold, heat, and rain are the disadvantages caused by the seasons. Mentioning "etc." refers to hunger and thirst, which are innate sufferings. "After I leave you" means giving help. Because it is the place of home, so living at home, but that home does not live. Why doesn't it live? To explain that, it is said, "Therefore, people's happiness appears elsewhere." Elsewhere refers to different kinds, and the happiness of the same kind as deer is also elsewhere. This is to explain that compassion should be generated for livestock. "The nature of livestock" explains that compassion should be generated for the short life of livestock. To explain that compassion should be generated for all beings, the four verses of "dwelling in happiness and wanting to be separated from suffering" are said. Because it is the place of happiness, so dwelling in happiness, and not having suffering there is dwelling in happiness. The thought of wanting to eliminate is wanting to separate, and wanting to separate from suffering means wanting to eliminate suffering. Therefore, for the place where oneself dwells and the place where one wants to separate from suffering, because the mind is the same. Why is wanting to separate from suffering said later, and not explained before? If it is thought that one should first explain completely believing in eliminating suffering, and then explain completely believing in dwelling in happiness, that is not explaining according to a certain order. Explaining like this is because when initially pursuing the goal, what is first pursued is happiness, and then there is no suffering, so dwelling in happiness is said first, separating from suffering

The word "is" is explained below. The first half of this verse is to indicate correctly. The second half is to guide people to understand correctly. To illustrate "dwelling in happiness," the verse "without fame" is mentioned. Considering the fault of avoiding the slander of others and striving to overcome these faults, these two verses are arranged in order. Faults are also of two kinds: without fame and being condemned by the holy. This is the fault of the present life. "Suffering arises from sin" indicates the fault of the next life, because sin leads to the suffering of evil destinies. "Avoid sin like an enemy" refers to striving to overcome sin, which is to associate with the enemy. The harm caused by enemies is also of two kinds: killing and destroying. Destroying is included in harm. Friends are also of two kinds: helping and leaving. So, how should one overcome sin? The answer is: just as one escapes from a great enemy and avoids it. It cannot be abandoned like a disease. "It cannot be abandoned like a disease" refers to helping bad friends, which is not letting them do evil, what is that? It should be left. Not abandoning means leaving them in their place. This is to illustrate: even if one cannot kill, one should destroy, just as the holy ones treat friends. Those who want to dwell in the happiness mentioned earlier and get rid of suffering, want all beings to be incomparable. To achieve this goal: "Whatever one does not like for oneself, one should not do to others." Therefore, this will lead to understanding its meaning. "Whatever one does not like for oneself, one should not do to others." For this sentence, what is disliked? How should one do it? To illustrate this, the verse "relying on it to become a place of glory" is mentioned. "Becoming a place of glory" refers to giving.
