The four verses beginning with "Named Auspicious Banner" are about the state of being separated from perfection and encountering suffering. Then the two verses are about the state of being separated from perfection. Perfection is also divided by the fruit of merit, and combined into three categories, it is about the state of being separated from the fruit of the accumulation of merit arising from patience. This is precisely the verse called "Auspicious Banner", which, by saying "Following like a shadow", refers to the perfection of attendants and retinue. By saying "Protected by a splendid umbrella" and "Adorned by waving a yak tail whisk", it is about the state of being separated from the fruit of the accumulation of merit arising from generosity. By the half verse "Like the lord of the gods, Indra, revered by many", it is about the state of being separated from the fruit of the accumulation of merit arising from discipline. "Today, alone, I have fallen into a great precipice" is about encountering suffering. "Limbs are broken" means that even without fainting, or even without it, one feels sorrow because the limbs are broken, therefore one cannot escape from this precipice by oneself. When showing that one feels sorrow, if one asks: How would he feel sorrow? To show this, the verse "Never having experienced suffering, extremely young and tender" is spoken. "For base people, like an old wound flaring up" means that suffering has arisen. "Even if only a little life remains in the body" means that one will certainly die, because the precipice is deep. "Drawn by compassion" means being separated from perfection, and compassion arising from the cause of suffering. "That battle robe is covered with dust, and the turban is torn" this shows that the clothes worn on the body have all changed. "Falling from the cliff, the feeling of being struck pervades the mind" this refers to the suffering of the mind caused by the suffering of the body. "Sitting" means that because it has become like that, there is no opportunity to walk. This refers to this meaning. Walking refers to approaching change.

This is it. Because it is his suffering, it is his suffering, meaning the suffering of that king. His suffering becoming common is because the cause of his suffering has become common. In order to accomplish the words that show the good nature of beings in a virtuous manner, great king, have you not been harmed? Thus the verse was spoken. Among them, the so-called virtuous manner is with the words of the great king. The so-called showing the good nature of beings is with the words such as, 'Have you not been harmed?' This is the good nature of beings, which is naturally loving towards the suffering of others. The so-called 'Have you not been harmed?' is based on the premise of 'Has your body not been harmed?' Has there been no damage to the body? It is based on the premise of 'Have the limbs not been broken?' Have your illnesses not worsened? It is based on the premise of 'Have you not felt discomfort towards those two?' Based on the premise that breathing becomes gentle, the verse was spoken: 'King of men, I am not another.' There are two situations of disbelief: hearing a deer speak human language and knowing it is not human, and causing harm oneself. Therefore, he shows that the second reason for disbelief does not exist. Each half of the two verses shows the characteristic of helping each other in order, and gentleness is the characteristic of language like a relative relationship. Or, with respect and delight, this is based on gentleness, and the verse was spoken: 'Do not be displeased by falling into the abyss.' The characteristic of helping is to show gentleness. Thinking that I am worthy of your trust, this is precisely respect. 'I will quickly request your command with tears,' this is delight, which is gentleness. The so-called 'very wonderful' is with the characteristics of what was said. For becoming amazed and satisfied, in order to show its cause, overcoming the enemy.

As able to overcome them. This is shown by half of the verse. How did compassion arise for me? To accomplish this, I also know that I have done harm. This is the latter half. To accomplish this verse, this verse is spoken: Alas, gentle and sharp. What was said earlier is to be accomplished. The first half of the verse said earlier is accomplished by the first half of this. Its second half is the second half. Gentle and sharp, the work of gentleness is accomplished by compassion. The work of sharpness is: As able to overcome the enemy. Because it is truly present in me? Or because my heart later regrets? I myself am a livestock or a deer, why? Because harm was done to the innocent. This embodied deer is other. As able to overcome the enemy, it is accomplished by compassion, that is, as able to overcome the enemy, it is accomplished by compassion for me. Because of the dense division of fighting. This verse is, Has the great king not been offended? This is its answer. Falling from a cliff. This means that this is not too serious. To show that other sufferings are endurance, the verse falling from a cliff is spoken. You think that way is good, although able to overcome them, but because you have compassion, you think it is good. To show the cause of fault, this verse is spoken: Due to the cause of form, like a deer. Due to the cause of form, it is the cause of form itself. Coming to his vicinity means coming directly. Therefore, a mind that is naturally so good and a special thought are. Joy means the accomplishment of the meaning of what is desired to be manifested. Faith means that at that time I was pulled out. Joy and faith are joy and faith. By those two, the face manifestly faces, it is the face of joy and faith that manifestly faces. Or the face manifestly faces with joy and delight, it is the face manifestly faces with joy and delight.
