In order to awaken him. The term "in order to" means specifically, like in order to awaken him. To awaken him is to become awake. The head was not completely struck, meaning "therefore the head did not become powder." Another way of saying it is that the head was struck, therefore it did not become powder, but bled. The head was not completely collapsed, meaning "the head was slightly collapsed." To become ashamed is because of doing something that should not be done. To become ashamed is shame, because the shameful act that was attempted did not succeed. The radiance he lost is the radiance lost due to shame. To be without courage means "not without fear." Therefore, to be dejected due to displeasure is the dejection of displeasure. Displeasure is because there is no other protection, therefore dejection. Fear is because the Bodhisattva shouted loudly and jumped. Because of that reason, fear and dread arose, therefore it is fear. The signs of poisoning, as stated in the Vinaya scriptures, will also necessarily appear here, poisoning will cause dry mouth, hoarseness, and the production of dust, these signs should be noted. Losing radiance due to shame, becoming without courage. This indicates dry mouth. The complexion also deteriorates, which indicates a bluish complexion. Hoarseness, which indicates hoarseness itself, because when the throat is blocked, the voice becomes hoarse. Dust moistens, which indicates the dust itself. He could not look at all, which indicates that his own actions were excessive, because at that time he could not even abide in looking, this is the characteristic here. These are the signs of correct indications as stated in the Vinaya scriptures, these related to the signs are the causes shown earlier. After ascertaining in the mind, by seeing the signs without error. Not even looking at one's own benefit, because that is a bad person, therefore not looking at one's own benefit is bad. Therefore, not looking at one's own benefit, because that is a bad person, and will fall into the lower realms, therefore compassion arose.

Disturbance is the disturbance of the state of mind. Anger is the change of body and speech. The fault arising from anger and disturbance is the fault of anger and disturbance. Absence is the absence of any fault of anger and disturbance, because of discouragement, the fault of anger and disturbance is completely abandoned. Because compassion arises, the eyes are filled with tears. Saying 'like this' means doing something like this. 'How' means showing that it is driven by the mind. 'How to act' means that it is determined by the mind. 'How did you start' means to think correctly. In this regard, the first thing is that the mind should engage in action, whether to do it or not, and that this should be done in the same way, and then the mind thinks that this must be done in this way. After that, the mind engages in the actions of body and speech. This is shown in a non-sequential way. If you ask how, 'You did this to me like this.' This is because seeing his actions, he was surprised and asked. The reason is that it is difficult to even think about doing this, let alone doing it. If you put it aside as you think, it is very difficult to think and do it, so you are surprised and asked. Therefore, the order of these is shown in order. 'How did you start' In order to show the reason for the difficulty, 'The one who harms me is.' It is said that, 'The one who harms me and other related things.' Even if you make great efforts, what kind of power is that? It is the great power of making great efforts. Rejection is what should be refuted. Therefore, it shows that you have done a particularly difficult thing. 'I think I have done a difficult thing.' This is the verse. 'Good you, even if you become a human being.' The meaning of these two verses is also to show that you realize that you are very surprised, and to prove it. 'I think I have done a difficult thing.' It is to prove this verse.
