It is easy to cut down trees, that saying is indeed true. Is this kind of response to such effort beneficial? If I don't see any benefit, improper views become important. Then the king thought, who said these words, and was very surprised, and said unhappily to the deer king Ruru: These words, which are profound in meaning without naming names, and universally slanderous, from whom did I hear them? My heart is also the same. Therefore, noble deer, who are you blaming when you speak? Is it a human or a non-human? Is it a bird or a deer? The Bodhisattva said: Great King, this is not slandering others, but speaking because this matter is worthy of slander. Thinking that such things should not be done in the future, I thought so and said that. Who would speak harshly to the wound of slander? It is for the benefit of the pitiful child. There are also times when medicine is used because of illness. Carried away by the raging river, I rescued him out of compassion, and therefore I encountered such fear. How can one associate with wicked people? Then the king looked at that person with hateful eyes and said sarcastically: Hey, is it true that you were so unfortunate that you were rescued by this deer? Then that person was frightened and scared, his face turned pale, and he was depressed with shame, and said with his head bowed: Yes. Then the king said: There is no evil person like you. After scolding him like this, he ordered to prepare the arrow and said: Hey, you stand still. Even though you tried so hard to give benefits like rain, my heart has not become tamed, and the banner of bad reputation is raised in the assembly. What is the use of such an evil person living? After saying this, he put the arrow on the string and drew the bow to kill him. Then the Bodhisattva, with great compassion, stood between the two of them with a painful heart. He said to the king: Great King, it is not right to kill a good person, please do not do it. When driven by the enemy of strong desire, coming to this place that should be blamed, one will be killed by a bad reputation, and because of lack of merit, one will also be killed in the next life, because of the unbearable suffering and a grieving heart, people will be destroyed like this.

It has become a chapter. Deceived by the desire for perfect fruits, Like moths drawn to the light of a flame. Therefore, do not blame the treasury of compassion. Whatever little things are needed, Please grant them, and make the promise of the Able One meaningful. I will accept your commands with the crown of my head. Then, the king, being compassionate and unwavering towards the one who harmed him, and helping him, was greatly amazed and felt joy. Looking with respect at that supreme deer, he said: "Excellent! Excellent! Great fortune! Even to the unbearable harm done immediately, Such compassion arises. You are a person of virtue, But we are merely in human form. Please have compassion on this fool. Because I have met a supreme being, I will offer the treasures that are sought. You may also use this kingdom as you please." The Deer King said, "Great King, I have accepted and received your gift. Therefore, if you need me to fulfill the purpose for which you came here, please command me." Then, the great king placed the Deer King Ruru on the finest chariot and showed him great respect. He brought him into the sacred palace and treated him with the hospitality due to a guest. He placed him on a magnificent lion throne, surrounded by a retinue of queens and many ministers, and with joy and delight, he gazed peacefully at him and asked about the Dharma: "People, in order to seek the Dharma, The mind is divided into many forms. You determine all Dharmas, Please tell me how it is done." Then, the Bodhisattva, with clear and melodious words, explained the Dharma to the king and his entourage: "King, in short, the Dharma is: To generate compassion for all sentient beings, To abandon killing, stealing, and other evils, To make all three aspects pleasing. Great King, please look, I treat myself and my family, With the same love as others. Thus, there is no illegal thought in the mind, How could unwholesome actions arise? Because people lack compassion, The actions of body, speech, and mind, Treat family members like strangers, The behavior of the race becomes extremely bad. Therefore, have faith in the Dharma,
