桑巴（sampa）坚固地建立起来之后，就信任它，默默地住着安顿下来了。然后，菩萨善于度过彼岸，将上衣披在一边的肩膀上，右膝跪在巨大的船上，全身都弯曲着，向如来们顶礼，对那些商人说：商人们，你们以及居住在海洋和天空中的特殊神灵们，请听着！我从懂事以来，从未特意地想过，也从未想起过要杀死任何众生。凭借这些真实的语言和我自己的功德力量，愿这艘船不要沉入大海，平安地返回。然后，那位伟人凭借真语加持的力量和功德的力量，风带着水的力量返回，船也返回了。看到船如此返回，那些商人们非常惊讶，心中非常高兴，向善于度过彼岸者顶礼并欢呼，说：船返回了！船返回了！然后，那位伟人对商人们说：迅速升起风帆！并命令他们。那些被委派任务的人非常高兴，生起力量和热情，按照命令去做。然后，发出人们喜悦的声音，扬起白色风帆，美丽的边缘，在海洋中航行的船美丽，就像无云的天空中天鹅美丽一样。船就这样返回，水和风和谐地降临并升起，像美丽的无量宫一样自由自在地航行。临近黄昏的时刻，天空渐渐变蓝，四面八方都被黑暗的帷幕覆盖，星星点缀着。当黄昏降临时，善于度过彼岸者对那些商人说：喂，船长们，从芦苇丛开始，从海里捡起你们所看到的沙子和石头，凡是船能承受的，都装到船里。这样做，这艘船就不会因重量而倾覆了。这些沙子和石头也都是吉祥的象征，所以你们一定会得到它们，不会被鬼怪吃掉。

After the sampa was firmly established, they trusted in it, stayed silently, and settled down. Then, the Bodhisattva, skilled in crossing to the other shore, draped his upper garment over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee on the great ship, bowed with his whole body, prostrated to the Tathagatas, and said to those merchants: Merchants, you and the special deities residing in the ocean and the sky, please listen! From the time I have been sensible, I have never intentionally thought, nor have I ever remembered killing any sentient beings. By the power of these true words and the power of my own merit, may this ship not sink into the ocean, but return safely. Then, that great being, by the power of the blessing of true speech and the power of merit, the wind returned with the force of the water, and the ship also returned. Seeing the ship return in this way, those merchants were very surprised and their hearts were very delighted. They prostrated to the one skilled in crossing to the other shore and cheered, saying: The ship has returned! The ship has returned! Then, that great being said to the merchants: Quickly raise the sails! And commanded them. Those who were assigned the task were very happy, generated strength and enthusiasm, and did as they were commanded. Then, a sound of people's joy arose, the white sails were raised, the beautiful edges, the ship sailing in the ocean was beautiful, like a swan in a cloudless sky. The ship returned in this way, the water and wind harmoniously descended and rose, sailing freely like a beautiful immeasurable palace. As the time approached dusk, the sky gradually turned blue, and all directions were covered with a curtain of darkness, adorned with stars. When dusk arrived, the one skilled in crossing to the other shore said to those merchants: Hey, captains, starting from the reed beds, pick up whatever sand and stones you see from the sea, and load whatever the ship can carry into the ship. If you do this, this ship will not capsize due to the weight. These sand and stones are also auspicious symbols, so you will surely obtain them and will not be eaten by ghosts.

成就了。对于善妙度，心生欢喜和恭敬的诸神所显示的洲岛中，他们以认为是沙子和石头的想法，取走了猫眼石等珍宝，装满了大船。当天晚上，那艘船就到了巴鲁卡恰地方（Bharukaccha）。然后第二天早上，用白银、蓝宝石、猫眼石和黄金装满了船。那些我到达故乡水边后，极其欢喜慈爱地对它作了供养。因此，像这样安住于佛法，仅仅以真实的语言也能从不悦意中解脱，那么它的果实更不用说了。因此，应当随顺佛法。如果依止善知识，就能像这样获得安乐，因此，也应当讲述依止善知识的功德。善妙度之生世品第十四完毕。具有戒律者，即使在今生也能成就善妙的想法，那么来世更不用说了。因此，应当努力使戒律完全清净。这又是怎样呢？菩提萨埵暂时变成一个不太大的湖泊中的鱼王，湖中用卡拉哈拉花、红莲花、白莲花和乌 উৎপལ་花装饰着美好的水，天鹅、卡兰达鸟和成双成对的鸳鸯使之美丽，水边有许多树木和鲜花，据说他变成了鱼王。由于在许多世中习惯于行利他之事，因此，即使住在那时，也只是做利益和安乐他人的事。善与非善之业若串习，则对人们来说会变得熟悉。像那样的人即使不特意努力，在来世也会像做梦一样行事。那位大心士对待那些鱼，就像慈爱自己的爱子一样，以布施、柔语和利行等次第，极大地利益他们。彻底遮止互相损害的行为，对彼此极大地生起慈爱。以善巧方便和道理，为他们极力讲述鱼的佛法。他以此使他们很好地

It was accomplished. From the continents shown by the gods who were delighted and respectful of the Well Gone Beyond, they took jewels such as cat's eye stones, thinking they were sand and stones, and loaded them into the great ship. That very night, the ship went to the land of Bharukaccha. Then in the morning, the ship was filled with silver, sapphires, cat's eye stones, and gold. Those I arrived at my homeland riverside, and with great joy and love, made offerings to it. Therefore, like this, even by just a true word, one can be liberated from unpleasantness by abiding in the Dharma, then what need is there to mention its fruit? Therefore, one should follow the Dharma. If one relies on a virtuous friend, one will attain happiness in this way, therefore, the merits of relying on a virtuous friend should also be praised. The fourteenth chapter, the Jataka of the Well Gone Beyond, is completed. Those who possess morality will accomplish virtuous thoughts even in this life, then what need is there to mention other lives? Therefore, one should strive to purify morality completely. How is that? A Bodhisattva temporarily became a fish king in a not-so-large lake, where good water was adorned with kalahara flowers, red lotuses, white lotuses, and উৎপལ་ flowers, and made beautiful by swans, karanda birds, and pairs of mandarin ducks, and there were many trees and flowers by the water's edge, it is said that he became a fish king. Because he was accustomed to practicing for the benefit of others in many lifetimes, even when he lived there, he only did things that benefited and brought happiness to others. If virtuous and non-virtuous actions are practiced, they become familiar to people. Such people, even if they do not deliberately strive, act like dreams in other lifetimes. That great hero treated those fish like loving his own beloved children, and greatly benefited them with generosity, gentle words, and beneficial actions, etc. He completely prevented actions that harmed each other, and greatly aroused love for each other. With skillful means and reasoning, he diligently taught them the Dharma of the fish. He made them well with this
