When he dared not agree, then the king, grieving at the loss of his son, as if ashamed, lowered his head, appearing distressed, and sighed deeply. Out of love and compassion, and with a reluctant heart, he said to the people of Shibi: If you are so eager to deal with this matter, could you postpone it for just one day? Tomorrow morning, I will let "Deliverance" handle everything as you wish. The people of Shibi replied: We will do as you say. And they obeyed the command. The king said to Gesokawa: Go and tell "Deliverance" about this matter, and ask him to handle it. He also replied: I will obey. Then, covering his face with tears of sorrow, he went to where "Deliverance" was staying, and with a voice of sorrow and suffering, he cried out and prostrated himself at his feet. "Deliverance" asked in surprise: Alas, is the king well? He replied with an unclear voice due to displeasure: The king is well. "Deliverance" repeatedly asked: If so, why are you so disturbed? Gesokawa, choked with tears, his voice hoarse, and his breath faint, spoke unclearly, saying in a low voice: The people of Shibi are too unruly, they have become agitated and do not listen to the king's commands, even if the king speaks gently, they will not listen, and they want to drive you out of the country. "Deliverance" said: Why are the people of Shibi agitated and want to drive me away? I do not walk the path that goes against the Dharma, I do not like indulgence, if they have not seen me do wrong, why are the people of Shibi agitated? Gesokawa said: They have accepted your generosity too enthusiastically, you are happy to give selflessly, but the hearts of the beggars are greedy. Because you gave away the elephant king, the people of Shibi are agitated, causing the Dharma to decline. Therefore, they have abandoned their own laws, and without hesitation, wherever they drive you, others will go there first, they say, you should also go that way. Then, the Bodhisattva, being accustomed to a compassionate heart, and out of love for all beggars, and for the sake of the prosperity of his own Dharma, said: The people of Shibi are by nature unstable, I

Though pretending not to know me, I hold this body for the sake of the world, not to mention external wealth. I even give away my own eyes and head, not to mention giving away external wealth. To the words of the beggars' requests, I even intend to give away my own body. If one is afraid and does not give, this is just a child showing their true nature. All of you, King Shibi and others, may kill me or drive me away, but I will never not give. Going to the hermitage is also over. Then, the Bodhisattva's consort, upon hearing those evil words, her face changed. People of the Shibi country, did you hear how they decided here? What do you get from me? Or whatever little wealth your parents have, move those into treasures. Without being asked, she said: Where should I hide these gods as treasures? Everyone said according to the rules: Always to those who possess discipline, give with generosity and respect. If wealth is put into treasure in this way, it will follow and cannot be plundered. Also, make the parents-in-law happy, be mindful of the Dharma with one heart, and do not grieve when I am gone. Without being asked, upon hearing those words, her heart was extremely distressed. In order to abandon the unhappiness of the household, she let go of sorrow and displeasure and said: Great King, you alone, there is no custom of going to the forest. Wherever the royal family goes, I will surely follow there as well. After abandoning you and wandering around, I will surely determine my dwelling place. Wherever you, the tamed one, live, there will be no suffering of death. God, I have not seen that living in the forest is unhappy. Why? Unruly, uninhabited places, trees and water grow abundantly. Birds make various sounds, and there are many wild animals. The green meadows are delightful, like lapis lazuli. More than gardens, I prefer the hermitage forest. Other gods also said: In the midst of the lush forests, these two young people, adorned with garlands, looking with love, even the kingdom is not needed. Changed by the power of time, the beautiful new forests, and the forests with herbs and waterfalls, will bring joy. The birds playing happily make all kinds of sounds.

So sweetly and attentively. The teacher of desire and happiness also performs the peacock dance of the teachings. When the young bumblebees sing, it is extremely pleasant and flawless. In the forests, with song and dance, may it greatly please your heart. In the forests, the moonlight at night shines on the stone slabs covered with fine white silk, perfumed by the fragrance of flowering trees, and the forest breeze fans a cool breeze. The young eddies of the flowing water turn, the pleasant sound of the water gurgles and rings, like the sound of ornaments tinkling, may it greatly please your heart. Thus, thus, Queen Great Grace nourishes her mind, and her heart rejoices to walk in the forest, looking at the crowd of beggars, and entering into great generosity. Then, hearing that all had been given away in this way, a great cry of lamentation arose in the king's palace. The crowd of beggars, also oppressed by sorrow, became as if fainting, and like madmen, they uttered many cries of lamentation. Those who raise axes to cut down the shady trees that bear delicious fruit, if the place where they hold them is not considered strange, it is clear that there are no heroes. If they do not stop even things like ponds filled with clear, sweet, and cool water, then the names of the world's protectors become meaningless. Has fame run out, or has it gone far away? Where is the king who gives everything away? Because he was driven from his own throne, alas, it is not Dharma, do not sleep. The Dharma is asleep or dead, we poor beggars have no slight fault, attacking life is untamed, there is no one more skilled than him at destroying. Then, the Bodhisattva gave precious jewels, and millions of treasuries filled with gold and silver, and storehouses filled with wealth and grain, and male and female servants, and vehicles and mounts, and clothes and utensils, and so on, to all the poor as appropriate, and after prostrating to the firm feet of his parents, who were overwhelmed by the suffering of sorrow, he rode on an excellent chariot with his son and wife, like the sound of a virtuous midday
