因为行为和誓言的坚定，众天神也感到惊奇。快乐和一致，功德却不一致；功德一致，快乐却不一致。如果人也依赖功德，那美妙之处，对于畜生还用说什么呢？兔形仙人精通这些，成为他们中对他人慈悲的导师。功德随行，自性完美具足，他们的名声甚至传遍天界。此后，某日，那位大士在下午时分，为了让朋友们听法而来，极其恭敬地进行款待。在月亮渐盈的十四日，接近圆满的坛城，远离太阳，极其洁白美丽，如同无瑕的银镜，一面稍微泛蓝，他望着东方，对朋友们说：坛城稍微未圆满，对于这美好之相，如您所见。以善行来行持布萨，这月亮显示了喜悦。因此，明日必定是十五日，你们也要精勤于布萨和戒律，如果在理应获得食物之时，有意外的客人到来，应该像对待客人一样对待，甚至可以献出生命。你们看啊！凡是聚集，终将离散；凡是兴盛，终将衰败；生命也如闪电般变幻无常。因此，要安住于谨慎。因此，你们要增广以布施和戒律庄严的福德。唉！当安住于恶趣之中时，对于世间来说，福德是最好的依靠。众星的光辉被压制，月亮因光彩和功德而美丽。光芒四射者被太阳压制，能变得美丽的，那是福德的力量。凭借着土地之主的福德力量，国王们和骄傲的大臣们，舍弃一切骄傲，以良马般的姿态，如意地听从命令。即使仆人努力完成工作，如果缺乏福德，财富也不会随之而来，如同被巨大的福德驱逐一般，与他不和，愤怒地离去。与其追随痛苦之源的恶名，不如远离罪恶的道路。

Because of the firmness of conduct and vows, even the gods were amazed. Happiness and harmony, yet merits are not in harmony; merits are in harmony, yet happiness is not in harmony. If even humans rely on merits, what need is there to mention the beauty of animals? The rabbit-shaped sage, being skilled in these, became the teacher of great compassion for others among them. Merits follow, and nature is perfectly complete; their fame is also known in the heavenly realms. Then, one day, that great being, in the afternoon, came with his friends to listen to the Dharma, and treated them with great respect. On the fourteenth day of the waxing moon, approaching the complete mandala, far from the sun, extremely white and beautiful, like a flawless silver mirror, one side slightly blue, he looked towards the east and said to his friends: The mandala is slightly incomplete, as you see in this beautiful image. By virtuous deeds, practice the Uposatha, this moon shows joy. Therefore, tomorrow will surely be the fifteenth day, and you should also be diligent in Uposatha and vows. If an unexpected guest arrives at the time when food should be obtained, it is appropriate to treat them like a guest, even to the point of offering your life. Look at this! Whatever gathers will eventually disperse; whatever prospers will eventually decline; life also changes like lightning and is impermanent. Therefore, abide in mindfulness. Therefore, you should increase the merits adorned with generosity and discipline. Alas! When dwelling in the lower realms, for the world, merit is the best refuge. The splendor of the stars is suppressed, and the moon is beautiful because of its radiance and merits. Those with radiance are suppressed by the sun, and what becomes beautiful is the power of merit. By the power of the merit of the lords of the earth, kings and proud ministers, abandoning all pride, listen to commands as they please, like excellent horses. Even if servants strive to complete their work, if they lack merit, wealth will not follow, as if expelled by great merit, disagreeing with him, and departing in anger. Rather than following the bad reputation that is the source of suffering, it is easier to turn away from the path of sin.

绕洛（Ra log）啊！ 从那以后，行持善业的具吉祥者啊！ 努力成办殊胜安乐吧！ 他们回答说：“我们会那样做的”，听闻教诲后，顶礼绕行，各自返回自己的住所。 那些朋友们离开后，没过多久，那位大士心想： 如果来一位客人，他们会， 以任何方式来招待客人。 我自己却什么也给不了。 我用牙齿咬断的， 细小的草芽， 也不能用来供养客人。 无能为力真是太可鄙了。 因此，什么都做不了， 我活着又有什么用呢？ 如果我这里来一位客人， 我想我会感到高兴又悲伤。 现在，把这个可以用来招待客人，但又毫无用处的身体丢在哪里好呢？ 也许会对某些人有所帮助，当他这样想的时候。 那位大士忆念起来： 哎玛！ 我拥有自主权且容易获得的，我的这个身体，明明是可以用来供养客人的无瑕珍宝，我为什么还要悲伤呢？ 我找到了可以用来招待客人的东西了！ 心啊，你现在不要不高兴！ 我现在要用这具圆满具足的身体，来恭敬那些有胆量来的客人们，他如此坚定地想着。 于是，那位大菩萨就像找到了至宝一样高兴，并待在那里。 他心中生起了， 特别的念头， 力量和极度的喜悦， 都向诸神显现了。 之后， 大地连同山脉一起震动， 就像大海穿着翻腾的衣服一样欢喜。 天空中响起洪亮的诸神之鼓声， 四方也穿着极其喜悦的衣服般明亮。 乌云也带着闪电和雷声， 如同持续不断地低语和欢笑。 互相追逐的微尘被风吹起， 持续不断的花朵向他散落。 带着微弱寒意的微风也， 吹拂着各种树木的花朵和芬芳的尘埃， 极其浓密，如同铺开了一层薄纱， 似乎极其欢喜地在供养他。 诸神听到了他那奇妙的想法，极其欢喜，心中充满了惊奇，并到处宣扬，天帝释提桓因听到了， 心中感到惊奇。

Therefore, being unable to do anything, What good is it for me to be alive? If a guest were to come to me, I think I would feel both joy and sorrow. Now, where should I discard this body, which can be used to host a guest but is otherwise useless? Perhaps it will be of some help to someone, he thought. That great being then remembered: Emaho! This body of mine, which I have the autonomy over and is easy to obtain, is clearly a flawless jewel that can be used to offer to guests, why should I be sad? I have found something that can be used to host guests! O heart, do not be unhappy now! I will now use this complete and perfect body to honor those guests who dare to come, he thought firmly. Then, that great Bodhisattva was as happy as if he had found the supreme treasure, and remained there. In his heart arose, A special thought, Power and extreme joy, Were revealed to the gods. After that, The earth, together with the mountains, shook, As if the ocean was rejoicing, wearing churning clothes. The sound of the gods' drums resounded loudly in the sky, The directions also shone brightly, as if wearing clothes of extreme joy. The clouds, with lightning and thunder, Like continuous whispers and laughter. The dust particles chased by each other were blown by the wind, Continuous streams of flowers scattered upon him. The gentle breeze, with a slight chill, Also blew the flowers and fragrant dust of various trees, Extremely dense, as if spreading a thin veil, Seeming to offer to him with extreme joy. The gods heard his wonderful thought, were extremely joyful, and filled with wonder in their hearts, and proclaimed it everywhere, Indra, the lord of the gods, heard it, And felt amazed in his heart.
