I will surely die. The king said: If the fear of death cannot be cured, then what is the use of fully upholding the Dharma and going to the forest? Will the enemy of death not come to your forest? Did not the righteous practitioners who lived in the forest also die? Thus, everything is the nature of Dharma, what is the use of abandoning the home and going to the forest? The Bodhisattva said: Whether living in the forest or at home, death will come. Whether living in the Dharma or acting perversely, the practice is the same. Those who possess the nature of Dharma will not have the pain of sorrow, and the Dharma can also be practiced happily in the forest. Please listen, gods. Shameless arrogance and desire, stinginess and hatred are the foundation of the home. When will the Dharma that becomes the antidote to these be practiced? Karma is disturbed by many evil deeds, busy with upholding, practicing, and guarding. The mind is not peaceful and is the source of suffering. Householders can never achieve the path of peace. In the forest, many evil deeds are abandoned, the suffering of upholding is abandoned and becomes pure. Only practicing peace, the mind is also joyful, and happiness, merit, and fame are obtained. People are protected by the Dharma, not by wealth and armies. Great happiness is obtained through the Dharma, not through wealth. Those who possess the nature of Dharma will be happy even when they die. By striving to practice the Dharma, there will be no fear of falling into evil realms. The differences in karma also exist as they are. The nature of good and evil are different. The result of maturation is that unwholesome deeds lead to falling into evil realms, and accumulating merit leads to going to a place of happiness. Thus, that great being requested his father, and his father also agreed. He abandoned the glory of the kingdom like grass and lived in the forest of asceticism, practicing meditation and uninterrupted practice, and also placed the people of the world in these practices, and was reborn in the Brahma world. Therefore, for those who have developed renunciation, the glory of the kingdom will not become an obstacle to practicing the right path, so one should become accustomed to the mind of renunciation. If the thought of death arises, the mind of renunciation will quickly arise, so the merits of generating the thought of death should also be praised. Action

They are impermanent in this way, so one should also praise the merits of remembering death and speak of the doctrine of impermanence. Conditioned things are like this, without breath, one should generate the notion of non-attachment to all worldly people. Similarly, one should also say that these worlds have no reliance and no friends. Similarly, one should also add that in forest monasteries one can easily practice the Dharma, but one cannot do so in a house. This is the story of generating aversion to the iron house, the thirty-second story. If there is something to be endured, then there will be endurance, and if not, then it is not. Therefore, for virtuous deeds, even when harmed, one will be happy as if gaining a profit. It is like this, a Bodhisattva in a forest monastery, it is said that there was a leader of a herd of wild buffaloes, whose body was covered with mud, becoming rough, like something that had fallen from a cloud and knew how to walk on its feet. Although it was born in the state of an animal, because it had little understanding of the Dharma, it was born in a place of great ignorance, but because of its clear consciousness, it did not fail to strive to practice the Dharma. Just as compassion had been with it for a long time, it did not completely abandon compassion. Was it the influence of karma that made it become like that? Or was it its own power that made it become like that? Therefore, the Bhagavan said this: The ripening of karma is inconceivable. One who possesses compassion will also be reborn as an animal, and even then, an understanding of the Dharma will arise. If there is no karma, the boundary of rebirth will not be connected. The ripening of virtuous deeds is not false. Even if there is an understanding of the Dharma, because of the imprints of karma, relying on this and that, it will become like this and that. Then, an untamed monkey, because of its nature, and knowing that it had great compassion, had long been without anger and disturbance, thinking that it was not dangerous. So, it began to greatly harm that great Bodhisattva with various forms of harm. To one who is compassionate and gentle, an untamed person will be arrogant and haughty. Seeing that it is not dangerous, one will greatly change one's behavior. Anyone who feels a little fear
