It is called not fully ordained. If someone defiles a bhikshuni with unchaste conduct, that person is called not fully ordained, and even if they have received full ordination, they should be expelled. If someone defiles a bhikshuni with bodily contact, that person is called fully ordained, and even if they have received full ordination, they should not be expelled. Alternatively, this refers to the case of defiling a bhikshuni who has not had experience. Similarly, the text here is: Venerable, to what extent is it considered defiling a bhikshuni? If someone, with unchaste conduct, defiles a bhikshuni with desire, then it is considered defiled. Therefore, the sutra master says that for cases where there has been no downfall, defiling those who have had experience with unchaste conduct is considered defiling. It implies that defiling someone who has not had experience is not considered defiling a bhikshuni. Alternatively, this refers to the case of defiling a bhikshuni separately in eight ways. Similarly, the text here is: Venerable, if someone defiles a bhikshuni in eight different ways, is that bhikshu expelled, or is the upasaka expelled? Which of these is considered defiling a bhikshuni? The Blessed One replied: Neither. Venerable, if the bhikshus give full ordination to someone who has drawn blood from the Tathagata with malice, is that considered fully ordained, or not fully ordained? Some upasakas say it is fully ordained, and some say it is not fully ordained. If someone intentionally draws blood from the Tathagata with malice, that person is called not fully ordained, and even if they have received full ordination, they should be expelled. If someone unintentionally draws blood from the Tathagata with malice, that person is called fully ordained, and even if they have received full ordination, they should not be expelled. It is with this in mind that it is said: Not wanting to kill the Buddha is not considered one of the five heinous crimes. Venerable, if someone who has caused division in the Sangha renounces their vows and returns to lay life

If one has already renounced. Then again, in the Vinaya Pitaka, which is well-spoken, one strives to obtain the requisites of a fully ordained monk who has renounced and received full ordination. If the monks give him full ordination, should it be said that he has received full ordination? Or should it be said that he has not received full ordination? Some attendants say that he has received full ordination, while others say that he has not received full ordination. If someone perceives what is not Dharma as not Dharma, and splits the Sangha because of the distinction, then it is said that he is not fully ordained, and even if he has received full ordination, he should be abandoned. If someone perceives what is not Dharma as Dharma, and splits the Sangha, then it is said that he is fully ordained, and even if he has received full ordination, he should not be abandoned. Or, because of the difference in karma, he himself considered the division of the Sangha and said that. Similarly, here the text is: Who split the Sangha of Kauśāmbī? It was those who spoke of what is not Dharma. Staying equally within the boundary, they performed the Uposatha of unmixed Dharma. Or, considering the intention of joking, he said that. Similarly, here the text is: If someone echoes with a playful intention or distributes voting sticks, should it be said that the Sangha is split? The attendant says no. How will it be when doing karma? The proximate cause of division will become a gross offense. Or, considering someone who has not become a Sangha, he said that. Similarly, here the text is: If it is someone who has abandoned the fifth precept, then it should be said that the Sangha is not split. If it is the ninth kind, someone who dwells in a place of stealing, if he splits the Sangha, then it should be said that the Sangha is not split. If a hermaphrodite distributes voting sticks or echoes, should it be said that the Sangha is split or not split? He replied: It is said that it is not split. Or, it was said considering the future. Similarly, here the text is: Venerable Zama, does he have the authority to distribute voting sticks and do karma? The attendant says he has no authority. Similarly, if it is a eunuch, and a nun who has been expelled, and someone who has not been killed, and someone who has killed his father, and someone who has killed an Arhat, and a heretic.
