Or someone else? If one knowingly converts and obtains property dedicated to the Sangha for oneself, then it is said (to be an offense). Regarding "seven-day medicine" and so on, it is because the blessing lasts only up to seven days. Medicines such as butter and sesame oil are called "seven-day medicine." Connect it with "if one holds medicine," "holds" means "places." "Saying there is no transgression" is connected with "diligent in vows." "Call and speak" means "strive to speak." The meaning of the verse here is that the seven-day medicine will only incur a transgression of expiation if it is abandoned only after seven days have passed, which we are convinced of. However, the Blessed One said that there is no transgression in holding the seven-day medicine until the end of life. Why did he say that? Please think deeply and tell me. The answer to this is that it was said in consideration of dying within seven days. Similarly, here the scripture is: Venerable, is it the case that a monk holding seven-day medicine until the end of his life will not incur a transgression of expiation even if he abandons it? The attendant said: Yes, if he dies within seven days. Or, it was said in consideration of holding unsuitable medicine. Similarly, here the scripture is: Venerable, is it the case that a monk holding seven-day medicine for more than seven days will not incur a transgression of expiation even if he abandons it? The attendant said: Yes, it is mixed with unsuitable medicine, which the monks should not use. Or, it was said in consideration of a beginner or someone who has previously committed a root offense. Regarding "knowingly a false word" and so on, "knowingly" means experiencing a reversed perception, which is the meaning of "deliberately thinking." "False" means reversed meaning. "Word" means expressing meaning, which is the meaning of "establishing the meaning in another way and expressing it in another way for the sake of knowingly deceiving, etc." Because "knowingly" was said, it excludes false words that were thought beforehand.

Or, if it is said. The meaning of "fire of downfall" is that downfall is because of falling into hell and other evil paths, that is, falling into evil realms, evil paths, falling into hell, animals, and hungry ghosts, burning, cooking, is the meaning of falling. That itself is fire, because it is the cause of suffering. The so-called "extreme burning" is because it produces extreme suffering. The so-called "not" is to say that preventing downfall, saying it is a bad deed is allowed. The following should also be understood in the same way. The so-called "clearly say" is that you must say it. Regarding this, what others think is that if one thinks for the sake of a certain bhikkhu and tells a lie, then undoubtedly a downfall will occur. However, the Blessed One did not say that it was a downfall, what is the reason for this? Please tell me. The answer to this is: This refers to the situation of speaking in front of madmen and others. Similarly, here the scripture is: Venerable, if a bhikkhu tells a lie in front of a madman, what will happen? It is a bad deed. Similarly, being mentally disturbed, threatened by feelings, stupid, deaf, sleep-deprived, drunk, extremely drunk, falling into madness, telling lies in front of other beings, what will happen? It is a bad deed. Similarly, the author of the sutra also said: The decline of nature is not. Human behavior itself is a designation. The following should also be understood in the same way. Or, it is said based on thinking of a solitary place as a solitary place. Similarly, here the scripture is: Venerable, if a bhikkhu tells a lie in a solitary place with the thought of a solitary place, what will happen? It is a bad deed, etc. Or, it refers to the situation where a central person speaks a border language to a central person. Similarly, here the scripture is: Venerable, if a central bhikkhu tells a lie in the border language to a central person, and that person also thinks it is the border language, what will happen? It is a bad deed, etc.
