It is not. Because all fragrances are similar to musk. Do not completely smear the body with mud, except for the feet. If believers apply fragrance to their hands and feet, do not discard it in front of them. It should be applied to the statues of the Tathagata, Shravakas, and stupas. If they say, 'Please enjoy it like this,' then it should be enjoyed according to the words of a layperson. If a patient applies fragrance according to a doctor's instructions and bathes with perfume, the patient is not at fault. In the Sutra of the Basis of Discipline for Novice Monks, the seventh precept is to abandon garlands, scented ointments, ornaments, and colors. Abandoning high beds and large beds, what is a high bed? It is when sitting on a cushion, the feet do not touch the ground. What is a large bed? It is made of gold, silver, pearls, etc., and one should not lie down or sit on it. On a lion throne made of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, etc., sit with the concept of impermanence and listen to the Dharma, it should be given as alms, for the purpose of offering the Holy Dharma. One should sit on a high or nearly high cushion to listen to the Dharma, it should be given as alms. Do not teach the Dharma without being invited. Do not sit on a high or nearly high cushion in a public place. If a believer invites you as a guest in their home, and there is a cushion made of gold, silver, etc., spread out there, you should sit on it with the concept of impermanence, and also for the purpose of bestowing the Dharma and enjoying it for the believers. Without a cover, do not use the bedding and cushions, etc., of the Sangha or an individual. Do not sit on a cushion of leather nature or made of leather, nor should you lie down. If there is no cushion in the home of a layperson, there is no fault in sitting down. Do not wear wooden shoes inside the monastery. Do not discard it in the toilet, or in the latrine, or in the house. Do not sit on the cushion without permission.

It should not be done like that. Lepers are also not allowed. The beds, bedding, cushions, etc. of the Sangha should also be abandoned. This person's dwelling should be built outside the monastery. The sick or elderly should travel by palanquin. In common circumstances, one should not travel by elephant, horse, or vehicle. In the Sutra of the Basis of Training for Novices, it is the eighth training, called abandoning high beds and large beds. || Abandoning untimely food means not eating at untimely hours. As long as the blue lotus-colored dawn appears until noon, that is the time, and anything else is untimely. One should wash one's face after getting up in the morning. After the time has passed, one should not enjoy leaves and fruits, etc., and one should not enjoy even a little bit of impure things. Grape and other non-intoxicating drinks should be filtered with a clean cloth to remove impurities, and then drunk at untimely hours. If thirsty, water mixed with sugar and honey should be completely filtered and drunk at untimely hours. Whatever fish and meat are allowed by virtuous people, now they can be enjoyed after being completely purified in three ways. One should not be greedy for tastes, etc. It should be bought from a butcher by a faithful householder and eaten. Raw meat should not be eaten. There is no fault for a sick person to eat at untimely hours. The sick person himself is ultimately weak. One should not drink water, etc. containing impurities. In the Sutra of the Basis of Training for Novices, it is the ninth training, called abandoning untimely food. || Abandoning the acceptance of gold and silver means that it is not permissible to possess Salepram and silver, but it is permissible to accept it. If someone offers gold and silver, etc. for the purpose of offering, one should tell him: Please buy my Dharma robes and food with these. Or, one should accept it with this kind of mind: With these I will buy Dharma robes and food, etc., or accept it in order to make the benefactor happy. Elephants, horses, cattle, dogs, pigs, women and
