Also, prepare and place it. Is it enough to do just that much? To show that it is not enough, it is said, "Washing the begging bowl, etc." Here, it refers to washing the begging bowls of the Khenpo and Acharya. The word "etc." means washing and sewing the Dharma robes, cleaning the place, and doing all the tasks that need to be done. Then, after knowing the time, prostrate. Similarly, with reverence, join the palms and say to the Lama, "It is time to eat." The one who observes discipline should report in this way. By reporting in this way, it shows the eating of food. "Then" means after all the needs of the Lama have been taken care of. After knowing the time and prostrating, it is the time for the monks to eat. The time is from the dawn until the sun in Jambudvipa is before noon. During that time, after knowing the time when eating is allowed. Prostrate, and similarly, with reverence, join the palms. Prostrate to the Khenpo or Acharya. Similarly, the next day, as reported before, do not show disrespect with the body by stretching the legs, stretching the arms, etc. Abandon disrespect in speech, such as making horse-like noises. The body and speech should be peaceful and gentle. Join the palms and say, "I prostrate." In this way, the disciplined Bhikshu should report to the Lama, Khenpo, and Acharya. After washing the hands, properly and correctly, that is, keep silent and eat in moderation. Through these, it shows the complete application. "After washing the hands" means washing both the hands and the begging bowl. "Properly and correctly" means not looking left and right while eating, not looking at the distribution of food, and not taking too large bites. That is, keep silent and eat in moderation, which means not laughing loudly while eating, not talking, not making throat noises, and not making smacking sounds. "Moderation" means not eating too much, and if eating too little, one cannot do good deeds. Therefore, eat as much as is needed to do good deeds. To prevent indigestion, eat with the thought, "I will eat." Through these, it shows eating with a complete intention. Like this, if one eats with the intention of wanting to be strong and beautiful while eating, then the act of eating itself will become unwholesome. If one does not eat, the body

Because the weak cannot do good, if one eats with the intention of eating in order to do good, then the act of eating itself becomes good. If it does not belong to either of these, and one simply eats thinking of eating, then the act of eating itself becomes indeterminate. Therefore, when eating, if one does not eat, one will be afflicted by the disease of hunger. If afflicted by the disease of hunger, one cannot do good, so one should eat with the thought of eating food to ward off the disease of hunger and thereby do good. If one eats with such a good intention, then the act of eating food itself becomes good. Having eaten and likewise drunk, with pure water thereafter, in order to increase the perfection of generosity, recite two verses of generosity. This is to show the dedication of merit. "Having eaten" means having eaten the five foods and prepared the five offerings. Among them, "eating" refers to food. "Preparing" refers to offerings. "Likewise drunk" means having drunk what should be drunk. "With pure water" means having washed one's hands and mouth with filtered and examined water, and thereafter also washing the bowl clean. After that, "In order to increase the perfection of generosity, recite two verses of generosity." After washing the hands and bowl, in order to avert the harm that the prayer of the donor of generosity may cause to oneself and others, in order to obtain the great enjoyment of obtaining the bodies of gods and humans as the result of generosity, recite one verse for the sake of the donor of generosity, and recite one verse for the sake of the Naga King Gawa and Nye Gawa, thus reciting two verses. If there is a key instruction, meditate. Strive diligently to recite. Be skilled in vows and rituals, and be diligent in practice. This is to show the doing of good, which has four aspects: meditating, reciting, being skilled in transgressions and non-transgressions, and guarding the precepts without impairment. If there is a key instruction, meditate. This is to show meditation, in which there are also four types of individuals: those who engage in desire, those who engage in hatred, those who engage in delusion, and
