It is not complete, because it is said, "Always diligent in reading, etc." Because the actions of body and speech are especially subdued, therefore, that is subduing, that is, being away from roughness and detachment. Possessing patience and abundance, becoming a disciplined one in that way, one should know that one possesses the Dharma of abiding. It will be shown that such an abiding is shown in this way. By explaining the distinction, there is also Uposatha here. As mentioned before, because there is a distinction in entering the summer retreat, one should also enter the summer retreat. By "summer retreat, that is, promising to stay in the summer season," it shows that entering the summer retreat is to enter the summer retreat by promising the mantra of vows, "I will stay here," and it is excellent for a novice to do it. Here, the so-called entering the summer retreat, the word summer retreat refers to the first day of the middle month of summer or the day of the month immediately following it, because it is the establishment of the summer season, etc. How to promise? In the order of mentioning the names of villages, etc. It is said, "The names of the village, the patron, the attendant, and the sick person are mentioned in order," which means entering in the order of mentioning the names of the village, the patron, the attendant, and the sick person. One should promise in this way: on the night of the first day of the middle month of summer immediately following the first month of summer, in front of the monks. "Venerable ones, please listen. Today is the sixteenth day of the middle month of summer for the Sangha's summer retreat, and I, the novice named so-and-so, also retreat on the sixteenth day of the middle month of summer, I, the novice named so-and-so, in order to repair the damage and damage of the residence here, the patron is named so-and-so, the attendant is so-and-so, the village of enjoyment is so-and-so, the sick person is so-and-so, I promise to stay for the first three months of summer. I am staying here in summer, and my summer residence is here. The other party is a means." One should say this, and one should also say, "Good."

Yes, one should commit to that kind of mantra. If, during the summer, a circumstance arises where one must go elsewhere, what should be done? If he wants to go elsewhere, it is said, "If he wants to go elsewhere," and so on. If, from the place of entering the summer retreat, he is to go elsewhere, then, in front of the monks, bless him with a mantra for seven days, and then go, there is no fault, that is its conclusion. Saying seven days is the most excellent, because it is also said in the Vinaya to bless for one day. One should bless in this way: Venerable monks, please listen, I, the novice so-and-so, in this place including the inner boundary, have committed to stay for the first three months of summer. I, so-and-so, for the sake of a Dharma-related activity of the Sangha, will go beyond the boundary after seven days, and will return before then, I bless this in front of the venerable monks. I am here, and this is my summer retreat place, one should say this. "One whose discipline is broken should not be given rest," means that whatever discipline is broken and damaged is a broken discipline. If a root downfall has occurred, if one knows, suspects, or believes, or hears of such a thing, one should not give rest, that is, one should not allow him to rest when his body is tired and weak. Even the service of giving a toothpick is an approximate indication of all services. "One should not dwell or partake with him," means that one should not dwell in the same place with one whose discipline is corrupted, not even for one night. There are two kinds of partaking: material partaking and Dharma partaking. Among them, material partaking refers to dwelling together happily, partaking of food and drink together, and understanding that all those things are receiving from him or giving to him. Dharma partaking refers to receiving and holding the instructions of the supreme Dharma from him, and experiencing the Uposatha, etc. Therefore, one should not dwell or partake with such a person, that is its conclusion.
