That is so. The word "ni" has the meaning of distinguishing from the previous one. "Giving little but wanting much." It means that giving a little, but wanting more, seeking and demanding, is also called "coercive demand," because the reason for it is precisely to demand. Also, it means to collect. "Those who are deceitful and speak sweetly for the sake of gain, the Noble One said, are all flattery." It means that for the sake of gain, that is, because of need, those who are deceitful and speak sweetly, all those who are called deceitful and speak sweetly, are what the Noble One, that is, the Buddha Bhagavan, said is flattery. All those similar to those newly shown pretenses, etc., and the examples of living by striving in reverse, that is, those things that closely symbolize, should always be abandoned. From the novice's verses, avoiding taking gold and silver, this is the tenth precept. Therefore, at the time of ordination, completely abandon the signs of a householder. Because it was said to abandon the attire of a householder, "The opposite of this should be completely abandoned." It means that the sign of one who lives at home is the sign of a householder. It was said that whatever the attire of a householder that should be abandoned is. For example, because it was said to completely abandon the signs of a householder. "The opposite of this should be completely abandoned." It means that the opposite of abandoning the signs of a householder is to take the signs of a householder again. Its aspect, that is, the fault of being similar to it and following it, is called that. The novice should also completely abandon it. Now, "Do not wear clothes like a householder." etc., is explaining those. Do not wear clothes like a householder, that is, do not wear clothes like one who lives at home. Then how should one wear them? Like the son of the gods of the Pure Abode, the scriptures say. If asked why, it should be understood, because the lineage of the gurus is uninterrupted. "One color, with borders, not white."

Furthermore, it is said that one should not wear all lower garments and robes in blue, nor should one wear them on top, which is an incomplete statement. Some say all blue and all yellow, etc., but they do not adhere to those styles. Therefore, the teacher Yönten Öd concisely stated it as all blue and with borders. To include with borders, that is, with borders, one should not wear it on the lower body, nor should one wear it on the upper body. The word 'and' means that white and blue should not be used as lower coverings, nor should they be used as upper coverings, which serves to جمع , therefore it is a جمع of negation. The exception here is: covering with a kasaya from the outside, etc. It means that if one wears white clothes, it is permissible to wear that white clothes covered with a kasaya from the outside, that is, from above. It should also be understood from the word 'sangha' here. Therefore, 'the sangha's beds and small beds, etc., and coarse cloth, etc., can be spread and used.' For this sentence, beds and small beds, and coarse cloth, etc., are distinguished in the same way, and then a special جمع is made. The word 'of the sangha' indicates that the sangha's beds, etc., like that, can be used after being covered with a mat. Otherwise, it is forbidden, because it may be damaged. The word 'small bed' is a جمع of the best of clothes and woolen cushions, not wooden small beds, because that will not be damaged, and sitting on such a cushion does not serve to block. Clothes should be understood as belonging to a person. The word 'etc.' is a جمع of cushions. If one asks what color should clothes be dyed? The answer is: it is permissible to dye monastic robes with three colors. Which three? The answer is: namely, kasaya, indigo, and ochre. Kasaya, indigo, and ochre, these are the three. Among them, kasaya is made by boiling flowers, leaves, fruits, and tree bark. Indigo is blue dye. Ochre is a dye made from earth.
