It is taught as it is said that it can be taken as medicine until death. The word "ni" means "for what reason". For what reason should one not eat things like food, such as daru, etc., but for the sake of illness, like haritaki, etc., that is not a timely medicine, it is said by the Blessed One Buddha or those skilled in the Vinaya that it can be taken for as long as one lives. "Until death" means that it can be taken until death, and that is why it is called "as long as one lives". In the sense that "it is permissible to take it as long as one lives", it is permissible to eat even when it is not the right time, so it is not non-timely. If what is timely and what is not timely are mixed together, how should one enjoy it? It is said: "If non-time and time are mixed, they should be eaten according to the time." This means that if non-timely things are mixed with timely food, then one should only eat the timely things, and this should be understood. It is said that if what is timely is mixed with what is not timely, if one can distinguish what is timely from what is not timely, such as if rice, etc. is mixed with brown sugar, etc., and one can wash it and remove the impurities, then one should know that it is not timely, and this will be taught. "ཉིད་" (nyid) is to be grasped with certainty. Now, starting with "non-time side", etc., it speaks of a category of non-time food. It belongs to the category of non-time food, and the word "food" is omitted. What is it? It is said, "eating from one vessel", that is, in the same vessel, both are blessed and eaten in the same vessel, this is eating from one vessel, and these are the non-time side. The word "ni" means to distinguish it from the previous one. When? It is said, "If there is another vessel, in a fearless place", that is, when there are other vessels and one is wealthy. Where? It is said, "in a fearless place", a place where there is no fear is fearless, in that place where there is no fear.

O! Here it says that in a place without fear, even if there are other containers, eating together with a second person in one container is considered a transgression. In a place with fear, even eating with others is a transgression, but in a place with fear, if there are no other containers, it is not a transgression, it will be shown. A special exception here is: If eating with a defeated person in one container, if pressed for time, there is no fault in a secluded place. It is said that a secluded place refers to a place away from people, and only eating together with parents in one container in an upstairs or downstairs room is without fault. Why? Because it is said, "If pressed for time." The word "ni" here also indicates that it is more likely to be a transgression than with others, while there is no fault with parents, in order to distinguish. Now, like the way of eating mentioned in the Sutra of Delightful Beauty, etc., by asking, it will show how one should eat. Like in the Sutra of Delightful Beauty, etc., the way of eating spoken by the Blessed One, one should eat in that way. Just like in the Sutra of Delightful Beauty, the Blessed One said to Delightful Beauty, for example, a carpenter applies eye medicine to the eye of a wheel, not for decoration, not for beautification, but so that the wheel can bear weight. Similarly, son of good family, eating is not for decoration, not for beautification, but only for maintaining the life of the body and keeping the body healthy. Therefore, in order to maintain the life of the body, one should eat with this thought. Do not overdo it, because there is no need. Because eating excessively beyond faith will cause transgression, so one should eat less, because it is not necessary. The word "etc." here is to imply other scriptures. The "and" here is for respect and eating, it is a following meaning. For the phrase "eat in moderation," the "and" here is also a following meaning, using the word "eat" to guide. Then
