It is not allowed in etc., this is to distinguish it from what was said before. What is specifically excluded by "Ni" is that the location and direction of urination and defecation, etc. are mentioned. Urination and defecation are urination and defecation. The location of the two is the location of urination and defecation. The direction of the two is the vicinity and the inside, and there is no fault in using wooden shoes in those places. What is the difference? It is mentioned that "including the inside of the house is not smeared", because it enters together with the inside of the house, so it is including the inside of the house. What is the difference? Not smeared, it means that there is no fault in the place other than the smeared place, it should be known that only the cleaned place will be guilty. Lepers cannot use the Sangha's bed, etc. It means that the Sangha's bed, etc. should be avoided, and should not be used completely. The word "etc." is to include copper bowls, etc. Similarly, "Sangha, etc." refers to the Sangha gathering and assembling, which is the Sangha gathering, and whatever belongs to that category is the Sangha gathering, etc. The word "same" is to explain that just as it was shown above that it should be avoided, it should also be avoided here. The word "etc." is to include the place where the Sangha is fully used, in order to fully manifest, such as including the toilet room, etc. What should the Sangha do? The Sangha should also isolate it. It is mentioned etc., that leper should also be fully taken care of by the Sangha. How to take care of it? It is mentioned "treat with medicine", medicine treatment is medicine treatment, use medicine treatment to give medicine, give nursing, this is the meaning of complete care. Where to put it? It is mentioned "isolation", which means to place and put in a place far away from people gathering. Is it just lepers? However, all patients should be given medicine and nursing, so they should be fully taken care of, therefore, all patients, nurses, life is very difficult.

Even considering (the situation). Besides the self-natured sins, even after concealing, one should guard the prescribed transgressions. Regarding this, self-natured sins are those related to self-natured sins, such as killing, etc., which must be completely abandoned. Even the prescribed transgressions should be fully guarded for the sick. Moreover, the word "also" indicates that taking care of the sick is equivalent to giving alms, etc., let alone the prescribed transgressions? This will be clarified. The prescribed transgressions are those related to the prescribed transgressions, which the Blessed One forbade by pointing out the faults, but not because they are inherently sinful like killing, etc. What to do? It is said, "Considering that life is very difficult." Because considering and knowing that living in vows is very difficult to obtain, that is its meaning. The word "ni" means "because," because life is very difficult to obtain, therefore one should take care of the sick. In the novice's precepts, returning from a large bed is the eighth precept. Now, the ninth precept is to be explained. First, if the time is indicated, then only by what is said, one can also know the non-time. Therefore, taking "Grasping the blue dawn, etc., until the sun of one's own continent does not set, it is time," etc., as an example. From grasping the blue dawn, etc., of one's own continent, until the sun of one's own continent does not set, this is time in the context of the precept of non-time. It should be combined in this way, and in both of these, "one's own continent" is mentioned, which should be clearly combined. Among them, the blue dawn refers to the dawn that rises when the sky appears blue. First, "the sun past noon" of one's own continent means that this is time. The word "is" here is close to what has just been indicated. There are three types of dawn: blue dawn, yellow dawn, and red dawn. Among them, in the last period, the appearance described earlier rising from the east is the blue dawn.

English

It is called dawn. After that, when the yellow dawn appears, the sky appears yellow, which is called yellow dawn. After that, when the red dawn appears, the sky appears red, which is called red dawn. As it says in the treatise on stars: When the blue dawn appears, the east appears blue, the light of the stars diminishes, and the sky becomes blue-gray. When the yellow dawn appears, the east appears reddish-gray, the light of the stars becomes smaller, and the sky becomes yellowish-gray. When the red dawn appears, the light of the stars disappears, the horizon appears as the dawn, which is the horizon where the sun rises. This is what the scripture says. When only this much time remains, the blue dawn will appear, which is known by the people of the world, so the Blessed One did not say that this is untimely food. Similarly, when one-eighth of the night remains, the king's timekeeper should beat the drum, which is prescribed in the treatise on stars, so here too, this principle should be understood. Mentioning one's own continent is to distinguish it from other continents. As it says: Midnight is when the sun sets, and noon is when the sun rises. That is to say, when it becomes midnight in the unpleasant sound of the north, the sun sets in the body continent of the east, and when it is noon there, the sun rises in Jambudvipa and the cow-goods continent of the west, so it is said to be at the same time. Similarly, apply it to all situations in reverse. Therefore, based on the time of one's own continent, if someone is born in Jambudvipa, even if they go to another continent, they should still eat at midnight and sunset according to the time of their own continent, and do not regret it. Also understand that the situation of living in another continent is the same. If one vomits at an improper time, what should be done? As it says, if vomiting occurs, etc., what occurs as a means of inducing vomiting is vomiting.
