How should one give an answer then? It means that one should state what others have asked. That is, one should only state what others have asked, and state what is consistent with it, that is its meaning. One should not say other things in order to harm others. If others ask, but one guides in other ways, then in all cases one will commit the sin of wrongdoing, that is its summary. "ཉིད་" (nyid) is what must be grasped, and it is another order. The special case here is: "If the person to be killed runs away, what should the executioner do?" etc. The person to be killed refers to a thief or someone else who has been caught by the king. If he has run away, if the executioner is asked, "Venerable one, did you not see someone running away?" Then, for this question, one should examine whether he is searching with the intention of pursuing, or with the intention of killing. When it is known that he is searching with the intention of pursuing, then there is no fault in speaking. But what if it is with the intention of killing? For that answer, what should be said at that time? etc., these will be used to explain. At that time, at that time one should say this, meaning that one should state this. "འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་" ('di skad ces bya ba) depends on the way of speaking, and "ཉིད་" (nyid) is to observe the way of answering the question truthfully. "ཏུ་སཱ་མ་ནི་" (tu sA ma ni) means to make it different from the former. "Come here, did you see the sky or the fingernail?" etc., one should answer the question of seeing the person to be killed. After saying, "Come here, sit down and rest," and that person asks a hundred people, "He didn't sit down, did you see him?" If at that time one looks at the sky and says, "I saw the sky," and looks at the fingernail and says, "I saw the fingernail," then others will think, "I didn't see him." They will think like that. If he understands all the words, if he says, "I didn't really ask you about seeing the sky and seeing the fingernail, but I asked you if you saw the person to be killed," then at that time one should say, "People with bodies did not see him." That is what is said. Because there is a body, therefore

Sentient beings, i.e., those with bodies, if they think of that as themselves and say, "You do not see," then others will also think that this one should also be killed, so they say such things. Such means, if one speaks following others in such ways, there is no fault, as previously stated. Why is that? It is for the sake of protecting those who are tormented. It is said that it is for the sake of protecting sentient beings who are tormented, and not with the intention of harming others. Now, the categories of falsehood will be discussed. This is how it is concluded, that is, the various categories of falsehood, that is, the various aspects of them, are discussed. This means that the faults of the actual thing and the differences between the faults of what has been done have been shown in various ways. Immediately after that, now is the present. Falsehood is false speech. What belongs to the aspect of falsehood should be spoken. It should be spoken. The fault of the mind should be spoken, that is the concluding word. The word "indeed" is to specifically show this meaning. That is, the way of doing and the way of not doing. Among them, not doing the way of doing, and doing the way of not doing, all become mental actions. If asked about this, then one should repeat it according to the Dharma, and so on, which is to show that if something is asked by someone, then one should repeat it, up to the point of answering. What is the difference? According to the Dharma means according to the Dharma. However, it is not to remain silent. Why is that? Because of the main thing, it is said. Because of the main thing, the words of contradictory answers, that is, what others have asked, and so on, are what were previously forbidden. Here, in order to prevent remaining silent due to torment, it is specifically said that one should speak. And it is not only not speaking contradictory words, but also one should not be tamed only by not speaking.
