One should avoid sleeping, dwelling, and going to other places alone due to greed. The word "etc." includes begging for alms, and one should also avoid dwelling alone. Here, there is no fault in teaching the Dharma, etc., because it is said, "If there is a male, there is no fault." That is, apart from sleeping, if one can fully understand and grasp the well-spoken words of a wise male as previously mentioned. Regarding sleeping, one should avoid fearing and being ashamed of husbands, sons, brothers, etc. In the verses of the novice's precepts, this is the third basis for reverting from non-celibacy. Now, the fourth basis will be explained by "The teacher, that speech, with mind not human Dharma, The name of teacher, I have, Except for pride, lying to others, If others know, then expel." If one falsely says to another wise person, "I have a teacher in human Dharma," with a false mind, and if others know, it becomes a fundamental offense, except for manifest pride, which is the summarized meaning. To explain the meaning of the branches, human Dharma is human Dharma, and it is of two types: that which has become a teacher and that which has not become a teacher. Among them, the five obscurations, etc., are human Dharma that has not become a teacher, because they are inferior. Among human Dharma, meditation, etc., are that which has become a teacher, because they are particularly superior compared to the five obscurations, etc. Human Dharma itself is what people should attain. The so-called "teacher" refers to what is indicated by the name of the teacher, and the Dharma that exists in that way is the teacher. If a novice says it, he should be expelled and destroyed, because he will fall. This is the remainder of the sentence. "That" should be regarded as definite. Therefore, if one expresses others' thoughts with the intention of expressing others, it becomes insignificant. To whom is it said? It is said, "To a person." The so-called "person" refers to humankind. What is said? It is said, "I have it."

It is so. That is to represent other forms, such as words like "I have obtained," "I know," and so on. With what thought? It is said, "the meaning of the Guru's speech," the Guru's speech is the Guru's speech. Its wisdom and thought are the meaning of the Guru's speech. Therefore, through it. Thus it will be shown, "with the intention of speaking by one who has transformed from human Dharma into a Guru." Among them, some do not realize the transformation from human Dharma into a Guru, in order to clarify the thought of previously realizing and saying, "I have realized the transformation from human Dharma into a Guru," therefore it is said, "except for pride." This is synonymous with "without manifest pride." Manifest pride is without fault. Saying "false" is because there is no concept. When should it be abandoned? When others understand, that is, when others realize. The so-called "other" refers to the place where people are the object just mentioned, or it is synonymous with "if others realize it." With the intention of telling others, when speaking to others, it will decrease, and vice versa. Similarly, hesitation will also decrease. Saying "understanding" is to completely avoid sleep, drunkenness, mental confusion, and not understanding speech. The tone of "ni" means "for what reason." Because if others understand, the vows will be broken, so it should be abandoned. Contrary to what was said above, all faults will be reduced, which is implied. So, what is the transformation from human Dharma into a Guru? It is said, "meditation and so on, with supernatural powers and fruits." What begins with meditation is meditation and so on. The word "etc." includes the formless samadhi, as well as other similar samadhis with the characteristics of birth places, such as loving-kindness. Meditation is the distinction of mind that practices in the form realm, and the formless samadhi is the distinction of mind of the formless samadhi. Supernatural power is manifest.
