Mentioning the vicinity of a dwelling refers to the vicinity of a residence. Mentioning anger is because pointing out faults to him or the Sangha is not a transgression. This is to explain this reason. Similarly, regarding "Taking what a thief has abandoned in a secluded place," it refers to picking up and taking away items such as clothes that a thief has stolen and then abandoned. Where is it picked up? It is mentioned as "secluded place," which means a place where there are no people or where people are not visible. Picking it up in such a place. Mentioning a secluded place is to explain that if someone thinks that picking it up in a garbage heap where many people gather, no one will think it was stolen by him, and there will be no untrue thoughts. But if someone thinks it was picked up in a secluded place, even if at the time it was thought to be pure, later on, seeing it, they might think it was stolen by him, and untrue thoughts might arise. Regarding "One with a cushion already dwelling, forcefully, lying down or sitting, completely calculating," it refers to forcefully, that is, later suppressing with force. In the Sangha's residence or elsewhere, one who has already dwelt, that is, one who has previously resided and first properly resided. If a later arrival lies down on the bedding or sits on it and completely calculates, that is, encroaches, it will be a transgression. Mentioning one who has already dwelt is to explain that if it is suppressed from the very beginning, it will not constitute a transgression for them. Regarding "Gains completely dedicated elsewhere," it refers to one's own or another's gains, knowing full well that it is dedicated to others, but completely dedicating it elsewhere, it will be a transgression. Now, let us begin to speak of the similar kinds of things not given. Starting from "Now, let us begin to speak of the similar kinds of things not given," everything said before is a transgression. Regarding "Belonging to the similar kinds of another's property," another's property is another's wealth, it is another's belongings. Belonging to its similar kind means similar, that is, following its part, therefore it points this out. That is to say, stealing and the parts similar to it will constitute a transgression. Through the taught statements, one should also observe similar categories. The trainings from the concise verses of the novice monk's precepts.

The second basis. 'Capable of enduring all parts of the limbs.' This and so on explain the third chapter of the basis of learning. How can all parts of the limbs be endured? When a gem that is free from disease and usable has disappeared, if a bhikshu experiences the pleasure of touch without fear or shame, then it is unforgivable and becomes a transgression of the fundamental offense. Such is the condensed meaning. In that, 'Capable of enduring all parts of the limbs.' In this, limbs and parts are parts of limbs. Everything is that, and it is also a part of the limbs, so it is all parts of the limbs. A limb is the body, and that is what should be relied upon and those who rely on it. As it is said, the limbs themselves are different from the body. The word 'body' refers to the body, so what should be relied upon there, and the different organs of men and women who rely on it, if the touch that is allowed to occur is possessed, showing smallness is like the mouth of a severed head, whatever the mouth of the severed head is, for that the sin becomes small, it is explained according to that, and the body itself is not made into a limb, except that it is not so, those words will not become a way of reason, so for this it should be recognized as a limb itself. That body is also all or not all, all are limbs themselves, like that cutting the body in half is also a complete transgression, and cutting half of what should be walked is also without blame, this is what appears. The word 'what should be walked' refers to men, women, and hermaphrodites. Half is half of the body, and that cut itself is here the female organ. Skin and lips and putting in the mouth, for the touch being possessed there is no blame, but it will become fundamental. The word 'part' refers to parts, which are hands and feet and hips and joints, etc. 'The path that is undamaged and usable,' etc., because it is the explanation of the name itself. The two that hold all parts of the limbs, which are able to endure and allow entering equally with two, that which exists, that is what is able to endure all parts of the limbs, this is a woman who is very powerful.
