One who possesses Dharma is the one who speaks the Dharma scriptures, that is, the righteous mind, etc., should be known as the master. Those who do not abide in the basis of Dharma, they will speak what is not Dharma from the beginning. The word "should be taken" means that because it is not the realm of others, the novice who enters the affairs of the Sangha is inevitable. The ten faults of that are cutting off ears, defiling other people's wives, etc., should be taken, and should be known from the fame of the world. At the time of that dispute, the householders should be well united, therefore, the dispute is accomplished, that is, the dispute. Because the dispute is accomplished. Why shouldn't that thing be viewed? Because the one with precepts, that is, the one who shows renunciation, the World Honored One has not allowed it. The word "ni" is the meaning of determination, that is, the meaning of only. For what reason is it unreasonable for the one with precepts to act like a dispute, therefore the householders should be definitely united. In that, the share of the king who truly arises and possesses the Dharma, given by the king, like the foundation of the earth, with a pure intention, the fault of taking without giving is abandoned, and there is no fault in taking, such a form of speech, this abides in distinction. The words needle and thread, etc., etc., show how to see the things falling on the foundation of the Sangha, that is, the equipment of renunciation with the needle as the head, whatever else, that is the needle and thread, etc. Needles, etc. are also that, and utensils are also that, so needles and thread, etc., if it is seen falling on the foundation of the Sangha or the stupa, the novice should entrust it to the steward just mentioned. The word "ni" is the meaning of making it special, because the fallen thing has been seen to have completely fallen from the owner. The steward also takes the needle and thread, etc., announces whose thing this is, gathers, and should offer the needle and thread, etc. to the Sangha. Where to announce it? It is said in the assembly, in the assembly and in each place, this should also be viewed here. If it is offered like this, is it offered like that? It is said if there is no owner,

Therefore, if only the owner knows and others do not, then the phrase "will become poor" should be added. If asked: How to do it? The answer is: It is said, "Wait for its arrival," meaning that the owner of the needle and thread, etc., arrives, which is waiting for its arrival. If asked: How long to wait? The answer is: It is said, "Three days," three days is exactly three days. Also, whoever sees it should hand it over to the steward, and the steward should also announce whose thing it is. The first "and" is used to connect, and the second is to complete the sentence, that is, to connect the announcement and waiting for three days. Whatever silver, etc., is seen should be said, and gold, etc., headed by silver is silver, etc. If you see it falling, what should you do? The answer is: It is said, "Put it in the warehouse," putting it in the warehouse means putting it in the Sangha's warehouse, which is the summary of this sentence. If asked: How long to put it? The answer is: It is said, "Six months," six months is exactly six months. The word "of" is used to distinguish between needles, threads, etc. If asked: How to do it? The answer is: It is said, "Until eight days," etc., meaning that waiting for the owner of the property to arrive, until eight days, that is, after eight days, put it in the warehouse, which is the summary of this sentence. "And" is used to connect the phrase "after seeing." If no one comes at that time, then after these six months, that thing should be collected into a container, which is the remainder of the sentence. The word "of" is used for determination, and for other sequential meanings, that is, mentioning the container is to indicate that long-term items are easy to use, so it must be determined that the utensils for long-term items are not just containers. The Sangha is certain about the root, and for the Buddha, it should be secretly observed, and offered to the World Honored One as an ornament. Then, if someone comes and asks for it, then it should still be given, but without interest, meaning that from then on, that is, after the time of putting it in the container six months later, if someone comes and asks for it, then I should give it.
