When the value of one-fourth of a 'nanaka' (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is fully met, it becomes theft. Is it in general? No. However, each owner's share of the property is their respective portion. It is not merely stealing the overall property beyond each share. Here it is said that if it is the property of many people, it will be shown that if the value is fully met from each owner's property. Now, this should be analyzed: When, from the property of many people, the property of each owner fully meets the value, it becomes actual theft. In this regard, even if the property of one person fully meets the value, it will still become actual theft. Here, even if the property of one person fully meets the value, it will still become actual theft, because he stole the property of the owner that fully met the value. Even if the shares of others are not fully met, it will become the fault of actual theft, so it is said. What happens when many people steal what belongs to others? When many people steal the property of others, it is their own share. It is also their own share, and the value is also that, so it is their own share. It is each part with the characteristic of one's own share, up to one-fourth of a 'nanaka' (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思). When many people steal, that is, at that time, the fault should be judged by their own share. Here it is said that for the property that should be stolen, if the value is fully met for each thief, it becomes actual theft, not for the whole. When the property of many people is stolen by many people, for the property of each owner, if the value is fully met for each thief, that should also be understood by these two words. When stealing what belongs to many people, the noble Near-Hidden said, if many people have not set up a guardian for that property, the fault will arise from that property itself, not from many people. Therefore, if there is one guardian, even from that one guardian, a serious crime exceeding one-fourth of a 'nanaka' (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) will arise, so it is said. The nature of a single property...

The phrases such as "like the Sangha" indicate the fault of stealing for the sake of the Sangha. The so-called "brothers with the same property" are those who have the same property. Those with the same property are both those with the same property and brothers, so they are called "brothers with the same property," which is a synonym for undivided property. Because it is used similarly to this, it is "the Sangha like brothers with the same property." For example, just as brothers who have not divided their property are each the owner of a share, so too, the monks each own a share of the Sangha, which is its meaning. Because of this, when one or a few people steal for the sake of the Sangha, one should not examine and think whether it will become the share of all the monks who have become the Sangha when practicing the fault. "Oneself" should be placed in another order. Because, if one steals for the sake of the Sangha, even so, on the grounds of "for one's own sake," why is the fault not distinguished for the Sangha? Because the previously mentioned limbs such as the mind of stealing are lacking, it is not distinguished. The Blessed One said that stealing fields would constitute a fault, and if the things were complete, it would constitute a marginal fault, otherwise it would constitute a smaller fault, is it not so? If so, even such things were spoken under the authority of the Sangha, because the field is indivisible. Because the field is not established for the purpose of selling, and the field itself is not established, the Blessed One only spoke of what is indivisible. In order to show the promise "because the holders of vows increase," even if the division has been made, it also explains the holders of vows, because in this Dharma, the ordained will increase, so it is not examining the fault under the authority of the Sangha, but only examining it under the authority of stealing, which is its meaning. If one were to sell the field or establish the field itself, then the fault should be distinguished, but the Blessed One forbade doing so to all the monks who had become the Sangha.
