Now, the thought of stealing will not arise. How is stealing a boat considered stealing? (For example) explaining in lakes or drylands, etc., because the word "root" is used to follow, just as the continuum of sentient beings is considered stolen when it does not appear, similarly, a boat is also considered stolen when it does not appear. Where is this considered stealing? Answer: The wide place is also referring to the wide water area, which is the lake. For example, like the water of the ocean or other places. It is not limited to lakes, but also includes drylands here, drylands refer to dry land. There, by lifting or diverting it to the flow of the river, when the boat does not appear, it is considered stealing. Rivers, etc., whatever it is, refers to rivers, etc. The boundary, that is, the suspected place on the other shore, when it appears, refers to the boundary of rivers, etc., appearing. Not appearing the boundary refers to the boundary of rivers, etc., not appearing. Therefore, in the direct stealing of rivers, etc., and water flows, etc., taking (the boat) to the suspected place on the other side, that is, the ferry, like this not appearing, is considered stealing. When the other shore appears, then how should it be? It is said "when it appears," that is, when the other shore of rivers, etc., appears, according to what was said before, when reaching the other shore, then it should be known as stealing. The word "river" is used to represent the river, and the word "etc." is used to represent rafts, etc. The word "ni" is used to distinguish the meaning of before and after. When stealing from the opposite direction of the water flow, then how should it be? It is said "from the water flow," from the opposite direction of the water flow, because the opposite is inconsistent, so it is inconsistent, that is, it does not mean the direction of flow. The word "ni" is used to distinguish the meaning of before and after. Therefore, if it is taken to the opposite direction of the water flow, then the boat is considered stealing. How is it considered stealing? It is said "exceeding the boat position," because it is far beyond the boat position, so it is exceeding the boat position. From where is the boat position exceeded? From the ferry. Saying this, in order to inquire about the other shore, as long as the boat is taken upstream, that shore is called the boat position. Upstream.

If it is led to a certain direction, and it exceeds that direction, it becomes stealing, that is its position. This is assuming that there is no ferry to cross, only a limit that can be set, therefore exceeding that limit is stealing. For example, stealing by means of mantras and other methods. When stealing with a stealing mantra, etc. Speaking of treasures and other items to be stolen, when one sees with one's own eyes, that is, with one's own eyes, the thing to be stolen becomes stolen. This "just" refers to situations with characteristics such as moving to another place, it is not this meaning, this is the meaning of discernment. The plural word "mantras" is used to completely include medicines. Mentioning "seeing" means that when one sees, one grasps the wisdom of accomplishment. If one steals by sinking into water and other places, what will happen? Speaking of "the top of the object" etc. Sinking into water etc. means sinking to the bottom, this becomes stealing. The top of the object to be stolen is the top of the object. If it sinks into any place such as water, and exceeds the upper part of that place, and leaves, it becomes stealing. When stealing by sinking, if the upper part of the object sinks into the upper part of a place such as water, it becomes stealing, this is its meaning. Like this, isn't it that the thief first sinks and then intends to steal? It is indeed so, but that should be regarded as concealing the intention of stealing. Precisely for this reason, the author of the Sutra said that any intention to steal later is the intention of accepting. How are ornaments worn on the body stolen? Speaking of "body ornaments" etc. The limbs of the body are part of the body, and ornaments are used for decoration. If it is untied, that is, separated from the limbs of the body, this is stealing, because it moves from here. Because the ornaments worn on the body are not fixed in one place, untying them from the place where they are worn is also considered stealing.
