It is in the sense of making it mature. If the unripe is pierced, it will turn into disease, this is in that regard, it should be recognized as a fault of mind. Because there is no difference in this, oneself and others should know. Limbs, because it is to cut off the body, because of anger, cutting off one's own or others' fingers, etc., this is the remainder of the sentence. Or piercing, it should be used in conjunction with the word limb. Or else, this is to show another aspect, it is to cut off limbs, or to pierce limbs. If so, it will also become a fault of mind, this will be shown. Those belong to the aspect of killing, this is the remainder. That is, like a patient giving poison and weapons, etc., all situations should be explained. Not only are those in accordance with the aspect, but also those previously mentioned, this is the meaning of the word "also". In this way, in the manner just said, as the basis of learning, following and practicing killing, therefore they are in accordance with killing. Those only show those aspects, that is, a part, this is the remainder. Saying only aspects, it shows that not only are those, but there are others as well. In the precepts of a Bhikshu, it is the first precept. Now, with "the mind of stealing and desire itself," etc., the words of the precept of not giving and taking will be explained separately. If any Bhikshu steals property, then he should be expelled, because he is not a Bhikshu. What is the difference? "Not given" is said, not given is not given, that is, whose property it is, that person has not given, this is the synonym of "not given". What other difference is there? Whatever value is fully measured, that is the complete value, such as clothes, etc. Whose property is it? The answer is, it is also that person's, because the person is also that person, so it is another person, meaning it is his property. What is the difference? "Owned by a person" is said, only what is owned by a person is owned, meaning it is already owned.

meaning. Furthermore, what makes it special is the thought that considers only the act of stealing itself as stealing. If that itself were to become stealing, it would change; otherwise, it would not. That is the meaning. So, what kind of distinction is there? It is mentioned, such as "the one in the cemetery." Because it is in the cemetery, it is the one in the cemetery, such as clothes and so on. To possess means to be certain of obtaining. Not possessing means not possessing, which means not being certain of obtaining. Not possessing is also that itself, and it is also alms, so it is not possessing alms, which means cooked food. This is a summary of the special. Here, "the one in the cemetery" and "not possessing alms" are summaries of classification. Therefore, what are the items other than those from the one in the cemetery and not possessing alms? In what special way does a monk become a thief? It is mentioned, such as "thinking it is a person." Thinking that something is one's own, that is thinking it is a person. Is it okay to think of anything? It is said: Stealing is robbing, and his thought is the thought of stealing. Thinking is obviously thinking, therefore. Is it through many actions? It is said: "Single action" is mentioned. Because it is both single and an action, it is a single action, therefore. For whose benefit? It is said, "For oneself." The word "oneself" expresses oneself, and the word "for" expresses the need, so it is also for oneself, which here translates to the meaning of one's own need. The summary should also be done like this: for oneself and one's own. Whoever owns something, it is for oneself that one steals the property of others, not for others. The same words should be applied to each part, so just as "how is it someone else's property" is a part, everything that has been said is also only a part, which translates to this meaning. Can it be destroyed by just those parts? It is said: Place and time are place and time. They are the place and time of stealing that item.
