If one rejoices, then that is the ultimate change. If one rejoices with the mind, one should know that it is an act of the mind. Therefore, when applying to kill, it is said that rejoicing with the mind is a change of the mind. If one rejoices with the mind, it becomes a sin committed by the mind, which is only a sin that should be confined. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures that there is no transgression for a close attendant, because for the nature of accepting with the mind, there is no establishment of transgression. Similarly, it is also said in the Vinaya that there are two transgressions, namely body and speech. It is also said on the basis of speech that there is no transgression arising solely from the mind. Then, in the distinction of Bhikshunis, a woman who does not abide by household rules is tormented by afflictions, and lives together with another man, did you, Bhikshuni, cause her to abort? Reverend one, I did not cause her to abort. However, I accepted it. The Blessed One said to the Bhikshuni: Bhikshunis should not accept such a situation. If one accepts it, it will become a serious offense, up to the point where this passage appears, it is contradictory. Therefore, if here, one rejoices in the nature of body and speech, then at that time one will commit a defeat. But if it is in the nature of mind, then at that time it will become an act of mind, so it is a serious offense, which contradicts the scriptures. Here, the act of mind is also unreasonable, because for the matter accomplished by words, one does not say anything, because it is accomplished by acceptance, so here one will only commit a defeat. If one says so, then there is no contradiction, because there are two kinds of acceptance, namely saying that one does it oneself and accepting, and requesting permission and accepting. Therefore, here, it is accepting to say that one does it oneself, but not accepting to request permission. Because one is not an appointer, even if one does not say anything, acceptance can be understood, but here it is not established as a defeat, if one thinks of doing that in one's mind, then it is good.
