She na. From places of butchers and, crow sellers and, birds and, pig sellers and, meat sellers of mountain animal hunters, etc. Who should the monk receive from and give strength to? The nearby devout layperson. It is said that mentioning the devout layperson is to specifically show that there is no doubt of being alive. Here, too, it is in accordance with the side of killing, but because it is the occasion of food, it is declared here. The food left over by the crows should be used by discarding the remnants of the beak. This comes from the Vinaya Sutra. It is not allowed to press the foot on the base of the bowl, it is not allowed to wear shoes, it is not allowed to wear only one garment. If the doctor instructs, the patient can wear shoes, put his foot on them, and eat as he pleases. The support of the bowl is the base of the bowl. Foot means that it is not allowed to eat by pressing the part of the foot. It is also not allowed to wear shoes, and it is not allowed to eat wearing only one garment. The patient, as instructed by the doctor, puts his foot on the shoe and eats as he pleases. To the owner or distributor there, do not say "Give this or from this." The noble ones eat only what is obtained in order. Here there is no restriction for the sick. When eating or preparing food for distribution, do not say to the donor or distributor, "Give this" or "Give from this." However, the excellent followers of the Dharma should only eat what is obtained in order. Here there is no restriction for the sick. Leave a small piece of wine residue from the leftovers of the food. Do not do it on purpose, this is the reason for the prohibition. With suitable cleansing water, even if you eat, you should wipe your mouth, and even if there is no food, you should wipe it. Leave a small piece of wine residue from the food scraps. Here, the scripture comes from the Miscellaneous Matters. When a monk was doing the work of food, a dog ran over, thinking, "Throw me a little," so he squatted there, but the dog ate it all, and then died in despair, and time passed. The Blessed One taught: Therefore, it is allowed to leave a small piece of wine residue for the animals. It appears until this point.

Also, it should not be done for the sake of crows or dogs. The reason for prohibiting placing it specifically here is "khra" (variegated). Here, the text is: From the "Minor Matters" itself, a monastic hermit gave animal fox wine residue and drove away the crows. The crows became angry, and they said to the chief of the robbers: Chief, this monk has a great many dong-tse (copper coins). The chief of the robbers, being skilled in the language of crows, went there, seized the monk, and began to beat him, and so on. Therefore, it should be done as is convenient, that is, give a little wine residue to the animals. After eating, the mouth should be cleaned with cleansing substances, or clean cow dung, and water, so that there is no food residue. Here, the text is from "Silbu": Bhikshus, how much should be said to have been cleaned in the summer? The Blessed One said: The entrance to a nearby wound is always dripping, so it is not possible to leave no food residue. However, if it is washed and rinsed two or three times with drinking water and then discarded, it can be said to have been cleaned. After eating, the verse of giving should be recited, it is not abbreviated because it is only to accomplish the act of taking water and reciting the verse. From the commentary on the Sandhi-vyākaraṇa of the Novice, the ninth, abandoning untimely food, is complete. If one takes the form of silver and gold, a misdeed will occur, for clothes and provisions, or for the body, or likewise for medicine, if it is in accordance with the Dharma, there is no downfall. If one takes silver and gold, a novice will incur a misdeed. Here, it is intended that taking means possessing, not touching. Why is this? From the "Basis of Medicine," the traveling expenses of the monks should be sent by the novices. If it is said that this is an exception, it is not, because from the "Basis of Medicine" itself, the Venerable Blessed One said that taking silver and gold is the tenth precept of the novice. The Blessed One allowed the novices to send

What is the meaning of saying "to take"? The Blessed One said: "Near attendant, 'to take,' I said after consideration, not as an entrustment. Therefore, a monk should entrust, but should not take, that is, should not claim as one's own." Therefore, this is undoubtedly a prohibition against taking. The specific exceptions are: mentioning clothing and provisions, etc., for clothing, if one takes, there is no fault. Similarly, for provisions, it refers to provisions for the road. For the body, it means for what is eaten in the mouth. For medicine, it means for the purpose of pacifying illness. For being in accordance with the Dharma, not being separate from the Dharma is being in accordance with the Dharma, which means for offering to the Blessed One, or for benefiting those who uphold vows. Examples in accordance with taking: If one has Dharma robes, etc., still begging for clothes, etc. Needles and knives with handles made of horn, teeth, bones, or decorated with gold, should not be made. One should explain the aspects that are in accordance with taking, that is: if one has Dharma robes, etc., still begging for clothes, etc., Similarly, the materials for needles and knives made of horn, etc., are also the same. Therefore, needles and knives made of horn, made of teeth, made of bone, or decorated with gold, should not be made. One should not buy or sell, etc., for the sake of gain. If there is a necessary relationship, then there is no fault. If one wants to buy clothes, etc., then entrust a householder to buy them, but do not buy them yourself. If there is no capable householder to buy, then buy them yourself. There, one must also say two or three words. One should not hoard goods with Kakanis and conch shells, etc. Except for the elderly and infirm and the sick, other vow holders should not embrace their knees. Except for the sick and the elderly and infirm, vow holders
