That is so. The specific distinction is: when eating together with one's parents, there is no fault if there are no outsiders present. This is because, if the parents say, "Child, we have been thinking for a long time, we should eat together," then if they eat together in their presence without any outsiders, there is no fault. Some scriptures say "relatives," then one should know that "parents" refers to close relatives. As stated in the Sutra of the Auspicious One and others, one should eat food with goodness and moderation. As stated in the Sutra of the Auspicious One and the instrument for applying eye medicine, one should examine each food according to the rules that have been stated. Furthermore, "goodness" means having graceful conduct, and "moderation" means not too little and not too much, but eating as if taking medicine. One should not eat with small or large mouthfuls. One should never speak with food in one's mouth. One should not make unpleasant noises, nor should one scatter food. One should not eat by destroying the food like destroying a stupa. One should not eat in small bites as if one is sick. One should not fill one's cheeks with large mouthfuls like a beggar. One should not speak with food in one's mouth like an orphan. One should not make unpleasant noises as if one is scolding. After being asked, the patron gives, and the receiver uses, so that the great elements are not disturbed. One should say, "I have taken provisions for a day's journey." However, if the food is obtained through generosity, then one should eat it abundantly. One should not say, "The food and drink are delicious, the monks are well satisfied," and so on. Furthermore, one should not scatter food like a crow. One should not destroy the food like building a stupa. One should not eat the meat of animals that have been eaten by tigers, nor should one eat food that has been specially prepared. If it is food that has been left over by crows, one should wipe off the dirt from the beak before eating. One should not eat the meat of animals that have been eaten by tigers. Here, according to the Minor Matters, the group of six monks took the meat of an animal hidden by a tiger from the dense forest and brought it to the grove of King Bimbisara, and the tiger followed behind.

It should come quickly. After they arrived at King Sheng Guang's garden, a tiger peeked out from the entrance of King Sheng Guang's garden and squatted there. The World Honored One said to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, why is the tiger squatting at the entrance of King Sheng Guang's garden? The monk replied: The offerings that were hidden before were taken away by the six groups of monks. Ananda, is it the tiger's leftovers? The answer was: Yes, World Honored One. Ananda said: The king of beasts, the lion, kills good beasts, eats good meat, drinks good blood, and then leaves without any scruples, and other small beasts eat its leftovers. Therefore, monks should not eat tiger's leftovers. If they do, they will commit a serious crime. If we understand it literally here, it seems to be a prohibition against taking what is not given. The monk Dharma Joy said: If this prohibition is against taking what is not given, why did the World Honored One say that one should not eat tiger's leftovers, instead of prohibiting taking what is not given? Why didn't he say that if the items were complete, one would commit a serious crime? Therefore, even if this is indeed taking what is not given, it will not be prohibited again because it has been prohibited before. This story prohibits eating tiger's leftovers. Therefore, it should be understood that this serious crime is completely different, just like eating human flesh. It is explained that according to this meaning, it is in line with the aspect of eating at the wrong time, so there is no sin. Meat made on purpose refers to the fact that meat and fish meat made on purpose should not be eaten. If one does this, or makes others do it, or rejoices, even if the three wheels are pure, it is prohibited because meat made on purpose will produce thoughts without compassion and is inappropriate. Other than that, it is not prohibited. Just like the example cited in the scripture: Monk, the World Honored One said that raw meat should be given to monks of the Shamen caste. The monk asked: World Honored One, where can I get it? The World Honored One replied: Get it from the five large butcher shops nearby. What are the five?
