Thus it is. There are six kinds of attendants: stealing by force, stealing by seduction, stealing by sealing, stealing what should be given back, stealing by destroying, and stealing the Dharma. Venerable one, among these six kinds of stealing mentioned by the Blessed One, which ones lead to downfall? Attendant, all except stealing the Dharma lead to downfall. What is the meaning of this sutra spoken by the Blessed One? He replied: It is just so. Now, for the meaning of stealing the Dharma: If one receives it with a virtuous mind, there is no fault. This statement indicates this. Stealing by seduction has two forms: robbery and gambling. Among them, robbery is indicated by using "who" and so on with the intention of stealing. Stealing by gambling means: if one loses in gambling, winning is considered a fault. This statement indicates this. Stealing by sealing also has two forms: sealing after counting and sealing after stamping. Among them, sealing after stamping is indicated by the statement "sealing after entrusting." Stealing by sealing after counting and stealing what should be given back are indicated by the statement "stealing, borrowing, sealing, and despising, etc." Stealing by force is indicated by the statement "openly robbing." Stealing by destroying refers to cheating in gambling. This also has two forms: by force and by deception. This is also indicated by using "who" and so on with the intention of stealing. Thus, stealing is distinguished by the classification of what is stolen. This is extracted from the Ocean of Vinaya. Thus, it is just so, stealing is elaborately distinguished by the classification of what should be stolen, this is extracted from the Ocean of Vinaya and explained. Whoever steals, whether by oneself, by others, by sending a messenger, or by relaying a messenger, is a thief. Whether one steals oneself, or others steal, or sends a messenger to deliver, or steals through a messenger, in any case, one should recognize that these are all thieves. Here, the sutra refers to oneself committing theft, oneself instructing others to steal, oneself moving items from one place to another, as well as stealing after blessing, instructing others to steal after blessing, stealing after blessing

Moving from one place to another, a messenger steals, a messenger instigates stealing, and a messenger moves from one place to another; if this is done, one will fail, and so on. Among these, the noble Nearshelter explains that stealing is to put into practice. Therefore, following this, these acts of stealing should be explained. 'Stealing oneself' means doing it oneself. 'Instigating stealing oneself' means deceiving others personally. 'Moving from one place to another' means moving something from where it is to another place. For example, if stealing is done through argument, it is done in the lower corner of the argument, making it reach a place where the other party's hope is cut off; this is moving from one place to another. If arguing in a master's assembly, it is making them go from a place where the opponent has not failed to a place of failure; this is moving from one place to another, and so on. 'Stealing after blessing' means oneself, only oneself, blessing the object and taking it, claiming it as one's own; this is the meaning. For example, for borrowed items, stored items, and despised items, blessing is done from the beginning, and after thinking and analyzing in the heart, stealing is done later, like putting into practice. This practice also means denying and not taking responsibility. Fourth fascicle. 'Instigating stealing after blessing' is also the same as before, taking possession and then having others take measures to cut off their hope, and putting it into practice. 'Moving from one place to another after blessing' is also the same as before, blessing the object and thinking in the heart, making it go from the place of the other party's hope to the place where hope is cut off; this is the meaning of cutting off hope. 'If a messenger steals' means sending a messenger from a long distance. 'A messenger instigates stealing' means a messenger through a messenger, and so on. 'A messenger moves from one place to another' means the place where the object to be stolen is located
