It is a minor offense. For example, a ascetic says, "Who has the hair of a god?" This is also accusing others. If the word "I am" is incomplete, it is a minor offense. If the word "I am" appears, then it becomes a fundamental offense. It also comes from similar-sounding expressions, for example, thinking from universal behavior, "I am learning," or sitting on the road and saying, "I am a resident of the road," and so on, are similar to that. Mother, alas, if you are also like me, then you have the fruit of returning. Now I say, "I am not such a noble one," saying this indirectly is also a minor offense. I have not entered into meditation today, and likewise, I am not Kalacakra, nor the other side of work. Whose house is that, it is detached from desire. That is mine, I am not detached from desire. If a monk says to an Arhat, "Please enjoy my food," he accepts it without speaking like that. If someone asks, "Are defilements exhausted?" he accepts it in a non-speaking manner. Like that, he shows falsehood with the words of the lama. Now listen to other lies. From the perception of something different, speaking to someone who understands the meaning of the word, that is a lie. The way called a lie, even if it is language, if it can be understood by language, if it can also be understood by the body, that is a transgression, but it is also a minor offense. Like this, there is no use of words here. What one knows oneself is what is seen, what is heard from trust is what is heard. It is necessary to hold uncertain signs. Speaking with these bases, there is no fault. One should say what others ask, do not say other things because of attachment. If the executioner asks the fleeing person to be killed, then at that time, say these words to him: Come here, nails or look up at the sky, I have not seen you among your sentient beings. In order to fully protect from harm, there is no fault in speaking with concealment like that. After showing the detailed classification belonging to lying, now say what is similar to lying. If asked, one should answer in accordance with the Dharma, do not remain silent because of attachment. The instructions of the lama, khenpo, lord of men, as well as the Buddha, Sangha, and elders, should be examined and acted upon according to reason. If it is not according to Dharma, then an indication should be given. Do not speak ghost language or unpleasant words to beings of oneself, others, or both.

With unpleasant, teeth-gritting sounds, if done for benefit, there is no fault. Gesticulations, vows, and silence are prohibited, so when walking on the road, one should either remain silent or discuss the Dharma, and not converse with women, etc., in an appropriate manner. When resting, respectfully recite the verses of the Buddha. If residing at night, one is of the three realms. However, if one sees the dwelling places of other deities, one should strike the waist drum and recite verses there. One should avoid alienating friends and harsh words, as well as words spoken from faults, etc. In the Vinaya, dividing the Sangha is said to be an offense, which is a mental offense and not others. Abstaining from false speech is the fourth precept. Liquor made from fruits, etc., is referred to as mixed liquor, wine, sugarcane liquor, etc. Liquor made by soaking, pressing, and mixing with yeast, as well as herbs that cause intoxication, should not be drunk. Here, both mixed liquor and modified liquor are indicated. That is to avoid consuming Kotrava, etc. Mentioning intoxication means that the vow is damaged. Mentioning carelessness is the cause of abandonment. If someone knowingly drinks liquor, and becomes intoxicated after drinking, it is an offense. One should not consume milk and thatch grass; similarly, offenses are destroyed by the Vajra. Any pill, stone, grass, etc., that causes intoxication, if eaten, will become minor. Anything that has the taste and smell of intoxicating liquid, even if it is not intoxicating liquid, should not be drunk. It should not be applied to the body or poured into the cheeks, and intoxicating liquid should not be used unless one is sick. If it is boiled and only the color is similar, or it is a liquid that will become intoxicating, if it is not a real substance, there is no fault in drinking a small amount; in this way, one should abandon intoxicants here. Taking similar things that cause intoxication as examples, it is said to be garlic, chives, and onions. That is also allowed because those who are skilled in diseases have prescribed it, not in the presence of unbelieving people. Outside the monastery, in a secluded place, houses are built and entered for the purpose of doing things. Moreover, it is admonished that the bedding, etc., of the Sangha should never be used. The body is free from dirt, and below, wipe the naturally existing place, and then enter the monastery. Abstaining from things that cause intoxication is the fifth precept. Dancing, singing, and the sound of musical instruments, etc.,
