Not striving will cause the creation of misdeeds. Is it the gate of the lord of men, or In the retinue of the consorts, having passed away, Not rising, is there a perception there? Doubt also touches the exhaustion of downfall. Because of perceiving in the other ones, In all of them, there is the commission of misdeeds. That which is called "not collecting treasures" Refers to not having concealed or hidden. Half-month, half-month, again and again, Even after hearing the Pratimoksha, These are included in the Sutra, And shown by the self-arisen Dharma. As such, those establishments should be made, Everything, I now understand for the first time. Thus, the one who understands, possessing the appearance of discipline, The diligent in vows is said to commit downfalls. Of bone, teeth, and horns, Which one is made into a needle case? The evil-minded one here commits downfalls, Willing to fall into the mouth of a crocodile. Having broken the needle case with it, That downfall should be confessed. For making such a needle case, This is the ritual to be done. The shape and measure of the arrow shaft and wine bottle, Should be in accordance with that, It should possess a needle and a small knife, Never otherwise. The needle is also of copper and wood, And of white iron and iron, four kinds. The small knife is said to be made of iron only. For that, there are superior, middling, and inferior. The superior measure is known to be eight fingers, The inferior is also four fingers. The shape of a crow's wing, Should be made into the shape of the small knife. When going to another village, Even if the monks are in a hurry there, For the sake of protecting the precept of the needle, One must definitely be carried. If making monastic bedding, etc., With the Sugata's fingers, Eight fingers for the foot, A monk should not make more. Eight fingers of the Sugata, Is considered to be one cubit. If more than that, the monks, Having cut it, should confess each downfall. For the purpose of making boundaries, A monk, for monastic bedding, etc., Should not spread out wood cotton, etc. If spread out, it becomes a downfall. Sheep wool, Tibetan wool, and kāśa (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), And shal mala (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) wool, Having collected those objects, One should confess the downfall. Whatever is spread out on top, Here, it should be known as spreading out. By what connection does a monk's Clothes not become beautiful? The length is three fingers of the Sugata, Not more than that. The width is one and a half fingers, The disciplined one should measure well, Having cut off the excess,

The offense is, to whom should one confess? The one who holds the precepts will also ask you: 'Have you cut it off?' This itself is the control of four and two, praised as water and width. A nun's scabies, if it exceeds this, is an offense. The coarse cloth garment called summer, know that the length is six. The width is three and a half, because that is the height of the Blessed One. For the size of the Sugata's Dharma garment, one should not make a Dharma garment, equal or more. The height there is sixteen. Which child violates the training, will not fall into the three lower realms? Because he will generate a hundred fears of offenses, therefore it is called an offense. Having correctly explained the offenses, next, one should speak of its aftermath. Through its own characteristic differences, there are four ways of separate confession. Within the scope of the practitioner's own conduct, a non-relative nun, having taken alms from her and eaten, is a separate confession. In which household, the monks, at mealtime, which nun, if she says: 'Give oil to this one, give food etc. to these ones.' The monks, while eating food, should prevent the sister from speaking. If one does not say any of them, then it is a separate confession to all. The inner, middle, and outer dwellings, all are three parts of the awning and meal times. The Sangha should be spoken by the elder or all the newcomers. The monks, while eating, say: 'Do not let this one speak.' The one dwelling outside asks: 'Has the nun not been prevented?' The Brahmins from the middle, if they eat without asking, it is an offense. Having committed an offense to an outsider, if not even one speaks, then the Sangha's elder etc., it is a separate confession to all. That too, like an offense, is confessed in front of one who holds the precepts. In the nun's summer dwelling, there is no prohibition against sewing clothes. That is her own property, even a spacious mansion is fine. Which household where the Sangha unanimously studies, has a precept holder who studies the precepts, even if a monk touches with his elbow, if he has not invited a guest, do not eat food. It is forbidden to drink butter, yogurt, and milk, honey, molasses drinks, fish, meat, and dried meat, and food containing butter. Accepting leaves, flowers, fruits, etc. is contrary.
