Ah! Wash it slowly in a vessel. If the launderer ruthlessly shakes and beats the clothes violently, it will exhaust the firmness of the clothes. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden in the scriptures. As long as you properly enjoy the robes and other items, the merit of the patrons will continue to increase. For the purpose of protecting the hair, the width of the hair cover is two and a half cubits, and the length is three cubits, no more than that. If a monk obtains a shiny robe from others, he can only use it after removing the shine with water, otherwise it is not allowed. Do not wear soft robes with shine, if you are lecturing, it will definitely become a serious obstacle. A beautiful woman solemnly gives a shiny robe to a beauty lover, thus arousing attachment, so it is forbidden by the great scriptures. If he does not have other tolerable clothes to enjoy, because he is afraid of dust, he should fold the dust cloth on the coarse cloth and wear it, the width is one palm high, and the length is one and a half feet, do not exceed this size. In order to fully protect the coarse cloth, use coarse cloth strips to sew the edges. Especially when sewing a patchwork robe, if the edges are completely worn, carefully sew and repair them, and sewing work is also allowed. Because you like the hand towel very much, do not deliberately tear it. Never take clothes from a corpse without wounds for the sake of the robe. Even if worms etc. bite the clothes, put them in the original place for seven days, and then the monk in the graveyard will wash and sew them before wearing them. The bedding and cushions of the Sangha are forbidden for him. The monk cannot enter the house, he should beg for food at the door. If someone invites a cushion etc., say that he is a person from the graveyard, and after being allowed to enter the house, sit on the cushion etc. When worshiping stupas, throw away things within an arrow's reach, do not eat fish and meat etc., and do not build houses there. Coarse cloth etc. without seams and with seams can be used by the Sangha. Because the colored Jeta Grove was offered, the use of coarse cloth etc. is prohibited. Anything that should be discarded is not for the Sangha, but for others.
