无论是否有搬运工具,如果携带羊毛超过三yojana(逾缮那,古印度长度单位,约合7-9英里),就犯戒。 如果走了三yojana半个krosha(拘卢舍,古印度长度单位,约合1/4 yojana),也犯一个轻罪。

Even if there are any damages to the mat, it should be repaired with whatever is available. If it can be repaired, then repair it. If an old mat is worn out, it should be taken apart, collected, and sewn together. If there are any damages, they should also be collected and sewn together, and the damaged areas should be filled with the middle part of a new mat. Collecting fragments is also acceptable. If an old mat has been broken into fragments, do not discard any of the fragments. Collect them, sew them together piece by piece, and use them in the middle part of a new mat. This is about the remedies for damages to mats. The sutra on the remedies for damages to mats is recorded in the Vinaya-vibhaṅga. Next, the abandonment on the road will be explained. Whether or not there is a means of transportation, if sheep wool is carried for more than three yojanas (an ancient Indian unit of length, approximately 7-9 miles), an offense is committed. If a bhikṣu obtains some wool, even if there is a means of transportation, if he picks it up and carries it, then he commits a minor offense at the moment he starts carrying it. If he travels three yojanas and half a krosha (an ancient Indian unit of length, approximately 1/4 yojana), he also commits a minor offense. If he travels three yojanas and one krosha, he commits an offense of abandonment. Once the journey has begun, each krosha also counts. Even if there is a means of transportation, if carrying wool for three yojanas and one krosha, an offense of abandonment will be committed. If traveling with a woman or a bhikṣuṇī, exceeding one krosha also constitutes an offense. If stopping repeatedly on the road, each time exceeding one krosha also counts as a violation. Half is the case of combination. Even if there is a means of transportation, if carrying wool for one yojana and half a krosha, a minor offense is committed. If traveling with a woman or a bhikṣuṇī, exceeding half a krosha also constitutes a minor offense. A minor offense is committed when something is taken from the sky by means other than supernatural power. Except for the case where an arhat carries wool by supernatural power, if wool is carried by mundane supernatural power, or if wool is shot into the sky and carried by tools such as slingshots, then traveling three yojanas and one krosha constitutes a minor offense. Thereafter, each krosha traveled constitutes a minor offense. This also applies to emanation. If animals or people are emanated separately to transport wool, as recorded in the Mūlasarvāstivāda Vinaya, traveling three yojanas and one krosha constitutes a minor offense. Situations without offense are: hats, shoes, rough mats, ornaments with tassels, Han-style whips, sticks with sheaths, etc. Carrying the materials (wool) for these items is without offense. Also, dust, minute particles, and

Uz, mirror, rabbit, wool, house, small hole, dust in the sunlight, louse, flea, barley, and finger, the first six and the last one. The method of calculating yojana and calling distance is calculated from these names, in this order, the first six are calculated as the last one. Four knuckles are six palms. Six barleys are one finger, and twenty-four knuckles are one cubit. Half and four are a person. Half and four of that cubit is one person. Four cubits are one bow. Those four cubits are the length of one bow. Those five hundred are the calling distance. Those five hundred bows are the length of one calling distance. Eight calling distances are one yojana. Its end is the monastery. The length of calculating the monastery is from the monastery to the end of one calling distance. The body does not bear burdens. Bhikshus should not let the body bear burdens such as scales and carrying on the back. It should not be the side, back, corner, or head either. The limbs of the body, these names that are mentioned, none of them should bear burdens. Do not doubt that this is not universal. Bhikshunis should also guard against not bearing burdens in this way. Bhikshunis should guard, saying this suddenly, all sutras are the universal mind, but except for bhikshus who do not carry wool, the end of the wool should not bear burdens, which is also the discipline of bhikshunis, said to avoid attachment. Do not lift more than half the burden. If a bhikshu needs to bear some burden, he is allowed to carry no more than half of what he can bear. Half the burden and so on. Because it cannot be contained in one burden. Abandonment of carrying wool. Abandoning wool, that is, the sutra that appears from the Vinaya Vibhanga. It says when washing: In the place of old clothes is wool. If old clothes are entrusted to a non-relative bhikshuni to wash, just like the branch and explanation of abandonment, entrusting wool to wash is also the same. Combing is rubbing. Rubbing, combing, washing, boiling, and spinning wool, any of these, if entrusted to a non-relative householder, will cause a fall, that is, on top of the branch and explanation of old clothes, this
