If left, it is a heavy offense. Is it raining? Where to go, is it raining or worried about raining? Crossing the river to go, or must cross the river to go? Without such situations, and being harassed by enemies or beasts and not, without permission, and like the sick or the elderly, permission to separate from the robes, but the Sangha has not given it, and the spread cushion has not been put away, permission to separate from the robes for five months, without these situations, without a patched (robe) one cannot go anywhere. Without such causes as mentioned above, one cannot go anywhere after putting down the three robes. If there are these causes, there is no fault in leaving the robes and going. If one cannot obtain the place of the robes, one should abandon them and perform the ritual of dedicating them to others. Where to go, having the confidence to return in less than a night, leaving the robes and going, if one cannot return because of being blocked by enemies, or the bridge is broken, or the flood, one should think, "Having already dedicated them as my robes, the remaining ones are just held in hand," thinking like this, recite the mantra of entrustment to a friend, and then entrust the three robes to others and recite the mantra. Even if the robes themselves are not found, one can use something named as a monk's robe to replace them, whether it is a secular item, or white coarse cloth, or uncut cloth, any kind can be recited with a mantra. Grant it! The situations where separation is not allowed are when the patching is heavy, for the sick and the elderly. If a monk, sick person, or elderly person wants to separate from the robes, if they report to the Sangha, the Sangha will distribute and use them according to the previous practice, if they really cannot bear the robes, whether it is a sick person or an elderly person, please grant permission, do not separate from the robes. If the Sangha does not grant permission, it will commit an offense. Doing it without obtaining permission from the dedication. It will become a Nissaggiya Pacittiya for separation if it possesses these limbs: it is also blessed by the mantra of dedicating it as my robe, for the sick and the elderly, there is no separation from the robes, and the Sangha has not given permission, and it possesses the month of spreading the cushion, the re-permission of allowing separation is also included. If one lives in a place other than the place including the outside, it is also dawn. Separating outside the boundary of the place where one lives, or separating outside the boundary and it is also dawn, and these limbs

If one possesses four conditions, one will commit the offense of abandonment due to separation from the monastic robe. The boundaries where I reside are those that will be explained below. Defining a boundary means the edge of a dwelling. A boundary refers to a boundary demarcated by the Sangha through the act of solicitation and request, as well as areas surrounded by fences, moats, and canals, all of which are considered boundaries. As for the extent of a boundary, how much is considered inside and outside will be explained below. If there is only one owner, then the internal boundaries are not different. Even if a house is taken away, if there is only one owner, then if I reside or place the monastic robe in one room of the house, even if a householder and the monastic robe or I reside in one room, there will be no separation. The same applies to wealth and views that have not been separated. "One owner" means that even if they are brothers, the wealth has not been divided, and activities such as farming and herding livestock are also in harmony. Whether it is the Buddhist Dharma or the teachings of other sects, if the views are also the same, then in one room of the same house, a brother and I sleep together, or in one room, the monastic robe and a brother can hide together, and if they are together, they will not be separated. If wealth or views are separated, one separated and one not, then there will be separation. If branches and nearby branches do not intertwine, then they are different residences. Under one tree, if I sleep directly below one branch, and the monastic robe is placed under another branch, if the distance between them is more than an arrow's length, there will be separation. If it is within an arrow's length, there will be no separation, and this refers to the situation where the branches and leaves of the tree do not intertwine. If the leaves and branches of a tree do not intertwine, and the monastic robe is placed on one branch, and I sleep on another branch, if the space between them is more than an arrow's length, there will be separation, as stated by Biśuta. Being near the trunk is common. If the monastic robe is placed on a branch or trunk of a tree, and my body touches the root of the tree while sleeping, then one will not commit the offense of abandonment. The same applies to the roots of the roots, etc. If the monastic robe is hung on a branch of a branch of a tree, and my body touches the trunk of the tree while sleeping, there will be no separation, as stated by Bijayabarma. If there are things on the separate branches of the root of a tree, or the monastic robe or I sleep on the root, if there is one person under the tree, there will be no separation, as stated by Biśuta. If the branches and leaves of a tree intertwine, then that is a residence.
