Because Gampa has already released it, it is explained under the method. To release it, praise the parents. If the property that is about to become "Shogam" (ཤོ་གམ་,Devanagari: ,IAST: ,Literal meaning: Shogam) is offered to the parents, but one says they want "Shogam", then praise the kindness and merits of the parents, saying, "This is what you have released." If it cannot be done, then one must give away what one owns. The same applies to the Three Jewels. If the property that is about to become "Shogam" is offered to the Three Jewels, but one does not release it and says they want "Shogam", then praise the merits of the Three Jewels, saying that this is a great sin, and that they are the kind of people who cut off "Shogam". If one does not release it, then one must give it away. Giving is for the sake of others, through the Dharma borrowed from another. If one has separately offered to both parents and the Three Jewels, but one must give away "Shogam", then whatever the "Shogam" person possesses, they must give away the property of the parents or the Three Jewels as borrowed Dharma. The torn opening should be sewn up later. Do not travel with something that is about to become "Shogam". If one carries one's own item that is about to become "Shogam", do not go. If one carries something that is about to become "Shogam", each yojana one travels will not become "Shogam". What is blameless is cutting off the two ends of the cloth, or changing the color. Apart from what belongs to utensils, it is blameless to carry only what the body needs. Changing the color will not become "Shogam", and heavy items will remain so even if squeezed. As a bhikkhu's utensil, changing the color of the robe will not become "Shogam". Changing the color of heavy items up to the point of boiling will not cut off "Shogam". Like goods for sale, changing the color and carrying a large amount will become "Shogam". Cutting off the opening is also the same. Like cloth, cutting off both ends in order to use it as one's own utensil will not become "Shogam". Carrying a large amount like goods for sale will become "Shogam". If you have not seen it, do not trust it. If a bhikkhu is walking on the path of "Shogam", and tells a bhikkhu friend, "Cut off the opening of this cloth, change the color, and fill it up." However, that bhikkhu is lazy and neither cuts off the opening nor changes the color, but puts it in a container. The owner of the bhikkhu's property thinks, "It has been cooked." Searching with "Shogam", or if it has not been cooked, from now on, if you have not seen it, do not trust it, and check whether there is anything in your container that is about to become "Shogam".

If one commits an offense. Do not cut off the livelihood of others. If a liquor store owner does not supply goods to the liquor store, do not prohibit the transporter or change the route, causing displeasure. Similarly, for the livelihood of hunters, fishermen, or liquor merchants, do not prohibit them from doing so with force or power. If you prohibit, it is an offense. Do not make unstable things stable. If a monk has two bowls, one large and one small, when that monk leaves, another monk wants to put the small bowl into his own bowl, saying, "If it fits into my bowl, I will buy it." Then he takes it away. When the owner of the bowl sees it, he thinks it has been stolen, so he releases it from the stable state. Do not touch the property of untrustworthy monks and householders, and do not use it. If you use it, it is an offense. These changes also apply to lower-ranking lamas. Being able to trust friends refers to three kinds of friendships: large, medium, and small. Do not tell the secrets of a large friend to a medium friend, but tell small things to a large friend. Tell large things to a medium friend, but do not tell small things to a medium friend. If you do so, it is an offense. Friends, friends refer to these: having the same opinion, being of one mind, keeping secrets, being sad together when seeing sad things, being able to help each other when there are no sad things, remembering the guru, constantly remembering because of the Khenpo, Acharya, and suffering, offering, offering and taming with food and clothing, etc., because of friendship, praising, praising and commending each other's merits because of friendship, and being happy when hearing praise. Because of friendship, one can freely use property, etc., and be happy. For these friends, no matter which one, they can be divided into three types: superior, medium, and inferior. Just like the sutra above says, do not tell big things to small friends. The reward for work should be given on time. If a monk has a small bowl, and the Sangha arranges him to do a job, but he is not able to do it, he entrusts it to a friend, and that friend takes the bowl as collateral and does the job, then he commits an offense. If a friend entrusts work and charges a fee, it is an offense. If it is entrusted by the father, that work should also be used as a reward. There should also be the idea of doing good deeds. If a monk who is unable to do something entrusts it to others, he should have compassion, and for those who are unable to do it, he should entrust it thinking that it will turn into good karma.
