Then these seven belong to the extremely peaceful category, and among the seven expiations, this is not counted as the eighth. If this is counted as expiation, then the seven extremely peaceful ones will become six, therefore the words of the Vinaya holders are not important, but the meaning of the scriptures is important. For reproaches and so on, it should also be like this, because it is not prescribed. Reproach is called the seven expiations. Among the seven expiations, there is no eighth, so it cannot be counted as eight, nor can it be reduced to six, but should be kept as seven. If one knowingly commits a fault but says they do not know, rumors of an unseen offense will arise. In order to pacify disputes, one should not fail to make efforts. If the four disputes are not properly pacified with the seven silences, the entire Sangha will become coarse and divided. This is the cause of strife. The above is the cause of strife. The following will explain the questions about the cause of strife. The strife that has already occurred is included in all the silences. At the end of the four expiations, the "expiation" of not granting participation in the karma should be subdued with the seven extremely peaceful ones. Actions that are not suitable for expiation are not the cycle of the Sangha. Usually, among the one hundred and one actions, cases such as committing a root offense, being expelled, novice monks returning to lay life, etc. are not included, and similarly, the arbitrators of Sangha disputes cannot be those people either. Through complete understanding, it belongs to others. If a Bhikshuni and a Bhikshuni have a dispute, it should be subdued by the Bhikshuni. If a Bhikshu and a Bhikshu have a dispute, it should be pacified by the Bhikshu. The reason is that the male belongs to the female. If there is a dispute within the Bhikshunis, there is no fault if the Bhikshu comes forward to pacify it. When Bhikshus have conflicts, Bhikshunis are not allowed to come forward to pacify them. Silence refers to moving from life or complete perfection. If the dispute between two Sanghas is completely pacified, or if they return to lay life as householders, then everything will be pacified. Finding expiation in other places. If a Bhikshu goes beyond others and inclines towards illegality, then it will also be pacified. If one commits a root offense or returns to lay life as a householder, it will also be pacified. If one goes to another place, or if it is put aside for a long time, it will also be pacified. Like a Bhikshu who attacks from behind, if he goes to a distant place, the strife will also be pacified. Long-term illness

Even if struck by a small thing, it will be pacified. From the disputant and the refuter. If two monks are arguing, if they die or disrobe from the interruption of the argument, or if they go a long way, it will be pacified. Asking about the object of contention. The object of contention is finished. From here onwards, the object of bedding will be explained. One who has renounced from the excellence of the Pratimoksha vows should prostrate. The five types of monks, the lay father, the lay mother, the temporary ordained, and those in order of seniority should prostrate to those above them. If they are equal, one should prostrate to the elder. Among the five groups of monks, one should prostrate to the elder. Not to others. A monk should not prostrate to a nun. A novice should also not prostrate. A woman should prostrate to a man who is not inferior. A fully ordained monk should prostrate to a nun, even if she is an Arhat and a hundred years old. One who resides in another place, one who is broken, and a nun who has been expelled, and one who resides in separate non-Buddhist refuges, one who has committed the five heinous crimes, one who is sleeping and has not attained samadhi, one who is in a hurry, one who is thinking of others, one who is facing away, one who is living in another's village, and except for those who are at food, monks and nuns should not prostrate to these people who are mentioned by name. A monk should also not prostrate to these who have broken their vows. A layperson should prostrate to one who has renounced. A layperson should prostrate to the five groups of monks. Everyone should prostrate to the Buddha. From the Bodhisattva downwards, all gods, asuras, and sentient beings should prostrate to the Buddha. Build a temple. There is no fault in building a temple extensively for the sake of an individual and the Sangha, the method will be explained below. Build a clean room in the center of one side. Build a clean room in the center of the side of a square temple. Install the door frame there manifestly. Wherever the temple faces, place the outer door there first. If it is square, it is good. If the temple is built square, it is good because it is appropriate. The three sides are also. In a place where there are no thieves and no fear, a temple can be built on three sides, and it is acceptable even if one side is not built. It is acceptable if the remaining two temples are offered as gifts. Reside in a temple. Residing in a solitary place is praised as happiness even by the Buddha, so those who reside there should have no doubt.
