If they cannot, entrust him to four monks who are even more learned and powerful. If he cannot be made a teacher, place him where he was taken from. If even these four cannot subdue him, return him to the previous four monks. If they cannot either, return him in order to the original sangha. If the sangha cannot either, entrust him to the monk who was first appointed as an impartial person. If he cannot either, return him to the sangha that first appointed him. If he returns, the root sangha appoints him to return for purification. Subdue him in order according to the later method, and if he cannot be subdued, the sangha appoints three or four monks from among the monks and sends him with them to another monastery with different precepts to be subdued. Let him dwell in another sangha with elders and those who uphold individual liberation. Entrusting him to another monastery with different precepts also means entrusting him to a monastery with elders who possess qualities and a sangha that recites the Pratimoksha twice a month. Initially designate the transformer and give him three months. When entrusting him to another monastery, the monks who escort him should argue as they did initially with the fourth monk, and as mentioned later in the order of monks and sangha, subdue him thoroughly, but if he cannot be subdued, first tell the story and instruct, "You subdue him in two or three months, and if you cannot subdue him in a hundred ways, send a letter again." That is what it means. Over there. If that sangha in the monastery cannot subdue him either, send a letter again to those monks who first sent him, and if he is sent back again, that is to the one who holds the sutras, the one who holds the vinaya, and the one who holds the matrika. After sending the letter in this way, if he is returned to those monks who first sent him, then take him again to whichever sangha, or whichever monastery has monks who hold the sutras, vinaya, and matrika, take him there, tell the story from the beginning, and also teach the Dharma there. For six months. Entrust him as before, and for six months, you subdue him, and if you cannot subdue him, send a letter again and instruct him. Determine to stay with the famous one. Subdue him for the remaining six months, and if you cannot subdue him, do not send him back again.

Those great Bhikshus should also start from the beginning of the story and entrust it to such an abbot who is known as the most excellent. There is no end to it! The latter abbot, up to this time, is not said to be subdued, but is grasped by the extent of when he will be subdued. Therefore, this abbot does not possess anything, and when the abbot Drakpa (གྲགས་པ་) subdues two contenders, if the Bhikshu of the contenders offers gifts or presents, the abbot does not accept them. Even including brooms and toothpicks. Not only does he not accept gifts like the latter, but he does not even accept the names. Not sitting together in one seat, not walking together, not talking, not talking about anything. The abbot does not do such things as associating with the Bhikshus he can obtain, not being in the same rank, seat, walking place, talking, telling stories, and so on. If he approaches, he says this. Like the latter, not accepting offerings and gifts, the contending Bhikshu says: What is the fault? He neither accepts gifts nor speaks. The abbot then says what will be said below: Venerable one, you have not found, nor have you obtained, but you have found the bad, and have not found the good. Since you have renounced in the well-spoken Dharma Vinaya, will you engage in fighting, engage in madness, or become enemies, become arguments? Venerable one, do not fight, do not be mad, do not be enemies, do not argue, there is no victory in fighting. One wins, one loses. Running will not make both win, one wins, one loses. The abbot teaches the two parties of contenders that fighting and arguing are faults, using scriptures such as "one wins, one loses." To act according to the wishes of the majority is another way of achieving it. Like the latter, even if the abbot has studied for many years, if no agreement is reached, it is offered to the initial Sangha. The Sangha admonishes the contenders: You should decide the victory of the majority in the Sangha by agreement. It will be discussed below. The way that the Dharma will not be devoured by demons is not that it will not be devoured by demons. The Sangha also admonishes the contenders in this way. In this case, if it is not in accordance with the precepts, an agreement should be reached as stated in the scriptures of the Dharma that are not respected.
