The punishment for concealment is limited to six days. If one has not received full ordination or has renounced the vows, then concealment is not sufficient. If a novice monk or a renunciate thinks that the Sangha has committed a Sanghavasesa offense, and later confesses, then for both of them, there is no fault in concealing it. The renunciate needs to fulfill the six-day requirement, while the novice monk only needs to bear a minor offense. If one loses their mind, then they will commit a downfall, even including Parajika. If a monk loses his nature and goes mad, then no matter which of the five downfalls, such as Parajika, he commits, there is no fault, even if he does not conceal it. Previously, when the Buddha had not yet established the precepts, there was no fault in committing any of the downfalls, except in cases of ignorance. Some novice monks commit offenses because they do not understand the precepts, but they think it does not matter, so doing so is disrespectful, and they should be dealt with according to the actual situation and confess. Not believing is also the same. In the Pratimoksha, if one commits the five downfalls, or eats meat, alcohol, etc., and says there is no fault, that is disrespectful, and the committed downfall should be confessed. Even if one thinks they are ignorant, it is the same. If a monk's friend advises not to do things like the five downfalls, but he says, "You cannot even protect yourself, why advise others?" Saying this is disrespectful, and the committed downfall should be confessed accordingly. Those who live in other places are also included. Among the seven types of renunciation, the first four, the punishment for Sanghavasesa, satisfaction, fundamental satisfaction, and those who are given lifelong precepts say: "We live in other places, even if we conceal the Sanghavasesa offense committed by the Sangha, there is no fault." Saying this is disrespectful, and they should be made to properly perform the punishment of concealment and satisfaction. If the Sangha conceals the Sanghavasesa offense with a hesitant mind, it is the same as knowing it. Some people do not know whether the Sanghavasesa offense committed by the Sangha is a Sanghavasesa or a gross offense, even if they hesitate, hesitating is disrespectful, and the committed offense should be confessed truthfully. Those who have previously concealed insufficiently are also not allowed to use it. In the Vinaya Long Sutra, it says that for the three types of people who do not know the Sanghavasesa offense committed by the Sangha, renunciates and novice monks, there is no punishment for concealment, this is just saying it, even if there is no punishment for concealment, do not make them perform the punishment for concealment. Committing a minor offense is

It should also be diligently practiced and abandoned. When the Sangha punishes with a remnant offense, if the punishment is hindered by the power of the king or minister, it is not allowed to add one or two days after four or five days of punishment, otherwise, a sin of transgression is committed. If it is practiced from that Sangha, it should also be practiced there. When the Sangha thinks that a remnant offense should be committed, a sin of transgression is committed. If it can be completed but is not completed, it should also be treated as a remnant offense. After committing a remnant offense, confessing to others, but saying that the punishment will be carried out later instead of immediately, a sin of transgression is committed. If returning from a place where no punishment has been carried out, return to that place. If the Sangha punishes with a remnant offense, and one returns to lay life before completing the punishment, and then ordains as a bhikkhu again, the previous punishment should also be carried out. The remnant offense of purifying objects should be completed. As stated in the previous sutra, if the Sangha punishes with a remnant offense, and one returns to lay life and then ordains as a bhikkhu again, one should diligently practice the remnant offense, rejoicing, and expulsion. If one does not know that the hidden time has ended, the punishment will not be reduced. After the Sangha commits a remnant offense, if one does not know how many days have been hidden, one should say about fifteen days. It should also be practiced in a pure state. As stated in the previous sutra, after the Sangha commits a remnant offense, if one knows the number of days hidden, the punishment should be carried out as if that many days were hidden. If one does not know, one should start counting the days from before the remnant offense was committed. Four months is the end of purification. After the Sangha commits a remnant offense and hides it, if the hiding itself has lasted for two or three months without confession, one should calculate it as about four and a half months. Hiding is limitless. After the Sangha commits a remnant offense, if one knows the number of days hidden and knows that it has been hidden since then, one should do it accordingly. If one does not know the number of days and the limit of hiding, one should calculate it as above. Thinking of ejaculation and being taken away, this is limitless. If one does not know whether the Sangha's remnant offense of semen has occurred, and one is doubtful and uncertain, and has not confessed, just as one has mistakenly calculated the number of days hidden, for the Sangha's remnant offense that is difficult to speak of, one should also do it in a similar way. One should try as much as possible to do what one thinks. If one person commits three Sangha remnant offenses at the same time, the punishment
