Do not use things that belong to others. Do not exchange and wear robes and skirts, etc. Do not wear monastic robes to do the work of defecating and urinating, and cleaning unclean things. Do not wear the seven-part robe to do the work of defecating and urinating, and sweeping the ground, etc. Do not sleep on it. Do not lay it under the seven-part robe to sleep, and do not sleep while wearing it. Except for the practice of begging for alms, prostrating to stupas, gathering with the Sangha, and experiencing the benefit of listening to the Dharma, do not use it for other things. When doing these things mentioned by name, you can wear the great robe, but do not wear it for doing other things. If you do not wear these in the village, there is no fault. Do not sit on it or let others sit on it. I do not sit on this great robe, nor do I let others sit on it. Do not press on it. Do not press the great robe with the body or hands. Do not roll it up and give it to anyone. Do not put salt, flowers, or anything else inside the great robe. I do not put it in, nor do I let others put it in. Do not use it for bodily contact. Do not touch it with the body except for the hands. Sweat from the right armpit will make it impure. The robe will be soiled by sweat and dust from the right armpit. The method will be explained below. To prevent it from becoming impure, sew a cloth on that side. Because direct contact with sweat from the right armpit will make it impure, sew a sweat pad separately. The length is half a cubit or one cubit high. The size of the dust pad sewn separately is one cubit high in width and half a cubit in length. Press both sides with an iron. When sewing the dust pad, press it with an iron. Wash it frequently. The sewn dust pad should be washed frequently. Also boil it. After washing the dust pad, boil it. It can also be boiled with alkaline water. You can carry a face cloth. There is no fault in carrying a face cloth. If there are secretions from the body, you can also use it to wipe the body. If a monk has severe sweat and dust, he can also carry a cloth to wipe the body. Wear it inside that robe. If there is severe dust, pus, or blood, wear a pus pad under the robe. If sores develop, apply wheat flour water or a mixture of oil and water, and then gently scrape it off.

If pus and blood stick to the body, wash it off with a mixture of barley flour and brick powder mixed with water, and then gently wipe it off. If pus and blood stick to the pus and blood pad, the method of wiping is the same as above. Wash, dry, and mend the bedding from time to time. It is good to rub it with cow urine. When repairing the pus and blood pad, it is good to apply cow urine to help treat scabies. Do not leave clothes lying around. Do not leave leftover clothes etc. lying around, but fold them up and treat them carefully. Therefore, set up a clothesline. Set up a clothesline to dry clothes. The clothes pole is also for this purpose. To install the clothes pole, make a hole in the wall and insert a wooden pole with a hole. This is done when building a temple. The first time to make holes for clothes poles is when building a temple. Do not make holes. Do not make holes when using a clothes pole temporarily. The temple is an example, and the small house is the same. The making of the clothes pole and the making of holes, like the temple, the individual's small house also does not make holes, but is set up from the beginning. This can be accomplished with wicker and rope. It is okay to tie wicker or rope to the rope of the clothes pole. It is good to take clothes with a cylindrical container. It is good to put the Dharma robe in a cylindrical container. Do this. There is nothing wrong with making a cylindrical container. Sew it with a length of three spans and a half. The size of the cylindrical container is three cubits in length and half a cubit in width plus a little more. The opening is in the middle. Attach a button. To prevent the opening of the cylindrical container from opening, sew a button with thread. The material for the button is made of thread. Tie it with something else. To close the opening of the cylindrical container, insert one button's eye into the other button's eye and sew it like a chain. The closed part is set on top. Always take out the Dharma robe. When needed, put the opening of the cylindrical container aside. If you are leaving the next day, ask the lama and leave after getting permission. If a monk who is staying is leaving, tell the abbot, "I am leaving tomorrow." Even a monk who is not staying should let his friends know that he is leaving. After returning to one's own dwelling, clean it up. If a monk is leaving, he should clean the place where he lives with a duster etc. before leaving. When walking on the road, either speak Dharma or do not speak. When walking on the road, do not talk idly, but either speak Dharma or think about Dharma. In a place of rest, recite the verses spoken by the Buddha.
