If all the possessions that are damaged and lost cannot be recovered even if they are all calculated, there is no fault in giving them all away. If they have been taken by the monastery, then whatever is obtained, divide it equally from what is obtained. If a deceased monk was hired by someone else to do work, but did not complete it or stopped midway, then deduct what is due from the deceased's possessions, and distribute the remainder. If there is a sick person's attendant, the six items obtained cannot be allocated to him. If the attendant of a deceased monk is the one who distributes the deceased's possessions, then he is entitled to the three robes, the alms bowl, the water strainer, and the six cushions, but not the share of the deceased's possessions. Including the superior, the intermediate, and the inferior. If the deceased monk has many robes, alms bowls, and cushions, not all of them can be owned by the good one, but good and bad are exchanged, without victory or defeat, and six are given. If there are many, they are owned in common. If there are many attendants, even if the number is large, they cannot all be owned, but are divided in common from the six. If the sick person dies and goes out for him, give. When the sick person dies, if the attendant wanders outside the boundary for his own sake, he cannot own the six items and the share of the deceased's possessions. Going out for the sake of the sick person is allowed. This is not suitable for the deceased's possessions. If the attendant is a nun or a monk who has been punished, he cannot own the six items. Not one who has entered another sect. If a monk who has entered another monastery does the nursing, he can also own the six items and the share of the deceased's possessions. This applies to all fully ordained persons. If a monk does the nursing, he can also own the share of the deceased's possessions as a regular monk. He can also own the six items. If the sick person says, "Give this," do as he says. If the deceased monk leaves a will saying, "Give this possession," but the attendant and others do not give it, then when distributing the possessions, give them separately according to the will. What is not allowed is to say after death, "Collect the possessions of the dead." If the sick person's will says, "When I die, give this person this much possession," then this will is not mandatory, and it is distributed in common. A will that appears later refers to a situation where it is given even if one has not died, but is interrupted. This refers to giving only after death.

Regarding what is done as not giving before death, it belongs to the householder. If a householder dies and the will says to offer the property to the Sangha and monks, there is no fault in taking it. After offering it, if the householder dies, the children and wife are arranged as they please. If the householder, according to the patient's will, does not offer men and women, etc., they can be used. Oxen, horses, female donkeys, donkeys, mules, and armor are all offered to the king. These mentioned by name are requested as offerings and are given to the king. Weapons are not given. The three are land, gold, and other things done and undone. Jewels are also included. After offering land, gold, silver, and other jewels, one-third is offered to the Buddha, one-third to the Dharma, and one-third to the Sangha. Failure to give to the king will also result in defeat. However, if there are others or more than that portion, or if it is not that, the pearls are also for the Buddha. In the property offered by the householder, whether other property and pearls are mixed, or whether there are only pearls, after calculating the value, all the pearls are offered to the Buddha. If not offered, it will also become vulgar. Large dyes are also included. Even if one of the eight large dyes is offered, because the monks cannot use it, it is offered to the Buddha. Grind it and apply it to the incense room. After offering pearls and large dyes to the Buddha, mix and grind them, and apply them to the patterns and walls of the Buddha's incense room. Other than that, it is used for the Buddha's image, incense room, and stupa utensils. Gems, etc., are ornaments for the Buddha's image, or they are sold to build Buddha images and stupas. The aspect of Dharma is writing the Buddha's words and the lion throne. What is offered to the Dharma is used for writing Dharma texts and seats for reading texts, etc. Vehicles are for the Buddha image. Offering palanquins and carts, etc., for placing the touring Buddha image, so offer to the Buddha image. The banner and flagpole of the flag are similar to this. Offering long wood and banners will make throwing sticks and flagpoles. Other things and tools are for the Sangha. Short wood and tools, etc.
