If one leaves after reciting a mantra for the sake of discipline, there is no fault. If there is no food, medicine, or service, and one cannot survive, then one enters a state of violating the discipline. If there are no necessities for survival such as food, medicine, and service, or if a circumstance arises where one must leave alone, even if one goes to a place where there is no livelihood, the discipline will be broken, but there is no fault. Or, if it becomes an obstacle to practice, livelihood, and celibacy. If all the bhikkhu friends are negligent in discipline, do not recognize insects, do not filter water, and consume fermented food, etc., committing the sins of eating and drinking, and I alone cannot complete all the affairs of the sangha, for my own benefit, it will interrupt the fruit of practice, the four stages of arhatship, and become a sin, or my life is in danger, or it becomes an obstacle to celibacy, if such circumstances arise, if one leaves alone for the sake of discipline, the discipline will be broken, but there is no fault. If one generates a discordant mind, or because of the place, my mind is not happy, and I will abandon sins, if there is a place that is happier than other places, and the mind is at ease, and one is happy with virtue, if one leaves for the sake of discipline, the discipline will be broken, but there is no fault. If one speaks sinful words, and joins the disputes of the sangha. Just as the mind changes because of the place, if one speaks sinful words, and becomes a friend of sin, even if one moves to another happy place, there is no fault. If those disputes subside, one should not leave. If a bhikkhu joins a dispute, and I offer advice, and am able to prevent him from joining the dispute, or am able to dissuade him from the dispute he has already joined, as long as I have such ability, I should leave for the sake of discipline, in this way the discipline will be broken, but there is no fault. If one does not leave, there is a fault. If one leaves, one should not violate. As stated above, if one goes elsewhere, one must return after seven days, reciting the mantra of the seventh day, if one does not return within seven days, and does not abandon the dispute, even if one stays there for more than seven days, the discipline will not be broken, there is no fault. One should not fail to vow to dwell in the summer retreat. If a patron provides the necessities of life for the sake of discipline, and promises to stay, that is also acceptable, or if one requests to explain the three pitakas of the Dharma, and provides the necessities of life, and stays for the sake of discipline, that is also acceptable, or after promising to stay

If that is done, it is a transgression. In a place of the same Uposatha, this is not allowed. If the Sangha enters different boundaries in different ways, and gathers together to perform the same Uposatha, then even if the two monasteries are not blessed by mantras and stay overnight, the discipline will not be broken, and there is no fault. If it exists, then it is obtaining the same thing. If the monasteries enter separately in different ways, and do not perform the same Uposatha, but mix the leftover food together and eat it, then the two monasteries cannot reside like leftovers, and if they are not blessed by mantras, the discipline will be broken. These are the items for summer. This is the explanation of the ritual for entering the summer discipline. All five assemblies should enter the discipline. Bhikshus, Bhikshunis, Shramaneras, Shramanerikas, and Shikshamanas must also enter the discipline. It is not only Shramaneras. If there are no Bhikshus and Khenpos, then it is absolutely not allowed for only Shramaneras to enter the discipline. If one enters the discipline but does not truly enter, then the transgressions are countless. This also applies to minors. If there are no Khenpos and elders, then it is not allowed to let Bhikshus who have not completed one year enter the discipline alone. For these people, entering the discipline is not invalid. As explained in the previous two Sutras, even if Shramaneras and minors enter the discipline, it is not valid. Do not take bedding. Bhikshus and minors enter the discipline, and because there are no elders, it is not that bedding is not distributed, but even if it is distributed, there is no fault. It is also the same even if there is no manager. If there is no manager of the Sangha's bedding or someone to collect and place it, even if there is bedding, there is no fault if we distribute it. It is also not collecting without distributing. The Sangha has not appointed a bedding manager, but the bedding is taken out at will, and should not be discarded casually. Whether there are those who hold the Tripitaka, and whether there are those who fight, etc., are also included in this. If later there will be afflictions, doubts will arise, and there will be fighting and conflict, then one will not enter the discipline. If there is a Khenpo who knows the three Pitakas, then because he can eliminate sorrow and doubt, and pacify conflicts, there is no fault even if one enters the discipline. If there is no one who knows the three Pitakas, then because sorrow and doubt will arise, and one will be confused, even temporary happiness will
