In order to prevent outsiders from entering, a knowledgeable and intelligent Bhikshu should be stationed at the door. Unbelievers should not be allowed to enter. From novices to permanent residents, unbelievers should not be allowed into the treatment room. Here, faith refers to faith in the Dharma and the Sangha, as well as those with momentary faith rather than hereditary faith. Attendants and close attendants should be responsible for these matters. In the treatment room, when performing rituals for patients, attendants and close attendants should be responsible for care. Attendants refer to Khenpos and Acharyas, and close attendants refer to attendants who serve Khenpos or other disciples. Others are called young people. If there are no attendants or close attendants, when performing rituals in the treatment room, young Bhikshus who observe celibacy should be responsible for care. If only elders gather, the youngest among them should be responsible. Firewood, fire and lamps, copper utensils, boiled water and copper pots for lamps, mustard oil, oil for smearing the body and lamp oil, toothpicks, dry firewood and soil, items needed for washing teeth and hands, flour, alkali or bean flour, etc., and water, etc., should be prepared. The items that appear in this Sutra and those that appear next should be prepared and handled by those who care for the sick and work in the treatment room. Inspect firewood, firewood and toothpicks. Prepare towels for wiping the body. Prepare oil and apply oil to the body. Prepare utensils for washing the body and utensils. Prepare brooms and rags, as well as items for discarding vomit, etc. Discarding ashes and sweeping garbage, etc., should also be the responsibility of young attendants. These are mutual. After the Khenpos, Acharyas, and elders have completed the rituals in the treatment room, if there are young attendants who are performing rituals, they should help each other. Small beds refer to grass mats and low beds. Wipe them clean with fish skin and place them in the appropriate place. After these items have completed the rituals in the treatment room, they should be placed in their respective places, in appropriate places. All utensils should be the same. After the utensils and implements, etc., have completed the rituals in the treatment room, they should be placed in their respective places according to the instructions of the Sutra. All utensils should be very clean and tidy. All utensils and implements should be placed carefully so as not to be damaged.

It should be placed in a secluded place, and all kinds of suitable things such as cleaning, washing, sewing, and mending should be done. There, lower your voice and enter. The sounds of the body and the sounds of the mouth, etc., should be reduced and controlled, and then enter the fire room. Make it beautiful. Those that were previously damaged should not be made beautiful, but immediately close the three doors and enter. This is completely restrained behavior. Restrain yourself according to the four modes of behavior, and enter the fire room with caution. It should be done knowingly. Things lighter than fire, not touching the door, and mentioning names, etc., should not be forgotten, and remembrance should be given priority. Do not sit in front of the fire. In the fire room, do not sit in front of the fire before. Relax greatly. Do not say idle words of laypeople and heretics, and even if you have to speak, lower your voice and speak slowly. Focus on not talking nonsense. When sitting in the fire room, focus on the meaning of good Dharma and continuous tranquility, and contemplate. Finally, recite three times in succession. At the end of the fire room ritual, a verse spoken from the mouth, as well as the benefactor and the guardian of the temple and all sentient beings becoming virtuous, and a hymn of praise and offering, recite three times in succession and leave. Do not do all the work with only one piece of clothing. No matter what you do, do not work with only one piece of clothing like a raincoat. Starting from doing the fire room, this should also be done during the fire room, but it should be practiced and done in the same way at any other time. Do not let those who do not believe do those things to the body. Do not let those who do not believe in the Dharma and the body do massages, smearing, rubbing, etc. This, like the previous one, is said to strengthen faith. This sutra and the previous one say that those who do not believe should not enter the fire room. Both of these do not allow those who do not believe to do it, but to serve with faith and steadfastness, which is what the Buddha himself said. Do not serve someone like a fox like a lion. A person like a lion who has discipline and merit should not serve a person like a fox who has broken discipline and has no merit. Even if the discipline is very bad, one should serve the Khenpo and Acharya. Even if the Khenpo and Acharya have bad discipline, one should keep one's own discipline.
