If a bhikkhuni promises not to beg from wealthy householders but begs from poor householders, this is confessed separately. Confessed separately. Eleven separate confessions are completed. Explaining many precepts: Do not wear a lower garment that exposes the thighs. In order to make the women of the household appear alluring, stuffing cushions under the buttocks beneath the clothes, making the buttocks appear bulging, a bhikkhuni should not do this. Do not go to villages with lust. If a bhikkhuni has lustful thoughts, she should not go to villages. Also, do not go to villages where others have lust. The same applies to monks. All the many precepts of monks should also be observed by bhikkhunis. The precepts are completed. The many precepts of bhikkhunis are completed. The Bhikkhuni Patimokkha is completed. The Sutra on the Origin of Diseases in the Bhikkhuni Vinaya Vibhanga is completed. From here onwards, it is explained in Parivasa: If a transgression is committed, whether it is broken or unbroken, it should be combined with a downfall. From the Sutra "Thus Arisen" onwards, it is explained: If a monk commits a Parajika, breaking the precepts, or completing the precepts, and the two cases of not arising desire, from the monk committing a Parajika onwards, up to committing a transgression, whatever of the five classes of downfall is committed, all are transgressions. If a monk renounces the precepts, and the two cases of shaving his head and entering the Sangha without having received the precepts, from the monk committing a Parajika onwards, whatever is committed is the same as a householder, so it is not considered a transgression. If one violates the vows taken by an ordained renunciate, it is also a transgression. The three, male novice, female novice, and siksamana, whatever of the ten precepts of the male novice himself, and the twenty-two precepts of the siksamana herself, is done or broken, it is a transgression. By confessing that transgression, it is purified and the precepts can be bestowed again. If a male novice commits the four Parajikas, or a female novice, without desire arising, breaks any of the ten precepts of the male novice, it is a transgression and is purified by confession. Confession is made in the presence of one monk. Even if it is just in one's mind, it is still so. Apart from the precepts of the male novice, female novice, and siksamana themselves, whatever of all the precepts observed by monks and nuns is violated, even if it is not the ten precepts themselves, but belongs to the category of the ten precepts and is similar, it is a transgression.

Therefore, there is no need to confess openly; repentance in the heart can purify. The eight items that monks and nuns are to guard, and that are mentioned by name, are not to be guarded by novices and novice nuns. Even if they are violated, there is no fault, and there is no need to repent in the heart. What are these eight? The remaining clothes, the alms bowl, the transgression of expired food, the transgression of being separated from the Dharma robes, the transgression of touching fire, the transgression of eating mixed food, the transgression of destroying villages of fruit seeds, the transgression of urinating and defecating on green grass, and climbing trees taller than a person. These eight do not need to be guarded by novices and novice nuns; there is no fault. On top of the eight items that novices and novice nuns do not need to guard, add touching precious jewels, digging the earth, the transgression of eating food without being given, the transgression of eating food mixed with expired food, and the transgression of cutting plants. These five items, added to the previous eight, make thirteen that novices do not guard, and even if they are violated, there is no fault. Apart from these items mentioned by name, the ten and twenty-two precepts that novices and novice nuns have taken and received, whichever is violated, there is a fault. Monks, nuns, novices, and novice nuns violating the precepts also have a fault and need to confess. During the Uposatha, not performing confession and purification, and nuns and novice nuns not receiving the precepts from the Sangha, also have a fault and need to confess. Actions that fall under the category of the ten precepts, and similar actions, if violated, will result in a fault, and repentance in the heart can purify. These ten precepts are summarized in this way, each belonging to and being summarized by what? Initially, because one has taken and received the precepts of a śikṣamāṇā (正学女), if one adorns and behaves like a householder, one will regret it in one's heart. This is a fault that can be purified, and it is summarized within the taking and receiving of the precepts of a śikṣamāṇā. Taking what is not given will result in a fault and requires confession. Because soliciting and searching for things with the intention of owning them falls under the category of stealing and is similar, therefore repentance in the heart can purify the fault, and it is summarized within taking what is not given. Touching gold is a fault and requires confession. If one takes all gold and silver objects, precious jewels, and everything that belongs to precious jewels, because it falls under the category of gold and silver, there is a fault, and one repents in one's heart.
