Or taking other bad, good, same, or especially good food. When begging for food, if someone gives a good kind of food from the alms, (you) say: "Please give one that is like and the same as that." If you ask for it and get it, you commit a downfall. If (others) give bad (food), (you) ask for it, saying: "Please give good (food)." If (they) give it, you also commit a downfall. If (others) give good (food), (you) say: "This person also gives good (food)." If you ask for it and get it, you commit a downfall. If you take bad food, (others) give good (food), and after taking it, you eat it, you commit a downfall. Among those, bad (food) is (committing) half (of the downfall). If you take bad food and get good (food), or if you take good food and give bad (food) and eat it, you commit a minor offense. Like begging as you have conveniently invited, if you come with the begged food, sit silently, and if (others) urge you, ask: "What are you begging for?" If you say: "What do you want?" and then say: "I want this." Just like there is no fault in this, when you come with food, you say: "I don't want that." Or because you don't want it, you cover the bowl and sit, and if (others) urge you, say: "What do you want?" and then say: "I want this." Getting it like that is also without fault. This is begging for alms. The downfall of begging for good food is complete. Now, I will explain the downfall related to living beings. Entering or using for one's own enjoyment. For things done for one's own body, even though there are sentient beings, if you use it yourself, or let others use it, you commit a downfall, which is one branch. (Tibetan, Devanagari Sanskrit, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) Knowing that there are sentient beings and still using it, you will commit a downfall, which is one branch. Having living beings. If there are sentient beings, you commit a downfall, which is one branch. Regarding the need for water, ghee, sesame oil, honey, brown sugar, milk, yogurt, curd, salt, grape salt, yogurt juice, coarse grains, fruits, and pickles, etc. Whatever of these names mentioned above, any one of them, if used for one's own body, will cause a downfall, which is one branch. Seeing, seeing sentient beings, and appearing to have sentient beings, you commit a downfall, which is one branch. Death. If a living being dies, you commit a downfall, and if you have these branches, you will commit a downfall. Each life, even though there are sentient beings, if you use it, like completely dying, you will commit a downfall. What the body needs is use. Needing it for the utensils of one's own body, even if there are sentient beings when using it, you will commit a downfall, because what the body needs is Sutra.

As explained below. For example, bathing, drinking, preparing toothpicks, washing hands and feet, etc. For the needs of the body, such as bathing utensils, drinking water, toothpicks, hand and foot washing utensils, even if you know there are sentient beings and still use them, you will commit a transgression. For what is needed, it is a necessary tool. The tools needed for the body, such as clothes, utensils, etc., from which washing and using are necessary, if there are sentient beings, you will commit a transgression, which will be explained in the following text. Food, food itself, and utensils for cooking food contain sentient beings, bowls, utensils for washing bowls, such as water and feces, etc., contain sentient beings, clothes and water and dyes for washing and boiling clothes contain sentient beings, dwellings and houses contain sentient beings in sweeping, smearing, and feces, washing bags, one's own bags and containers made from bags contain sentient beings, fire and other body utensils. Utensils for making fire, such as wood, etc., contain sentient beings, and even if you know it and use it, you will commit a transgression. Those and soil, feces, dyes, grass and wood, etc. In the subsequent scriptures, the utensils mentioned by name, if these contain sentient beings and are used, you will commit a transgression. What is needed among those is, for example, washing, rinsing, cooking, sewing, sweeping and smearing. In the sequel to the subsequent scriptures, among the utensils mentioned by name, if these contain sentient beings and die, you will commit a transgression. Making essence, broth and porridge, etc. If the materials for making essence, broth and porridge, etc. for the sick contain sentient beings, you will commit a transgression. Cutting off or releasing waterways. Cutting off water, just as the sentient beings existing in the cut-off waterway die, you will commit a transgression. Putting water elsewhere, just as the sentient beings living in the puddle and box die, you will commit a transgression. Putting in, pulling out or taking out wood and boats. Putting in or taking out wood and boats in the water, knowing that there are sentient beings and they die, and still doing so, you will commit a transgression. Different from the same kind, bathing with items that have hair, etc.
